Hibachi, also known as Japanese steakhouse or Teppanyakiis a post–World War II style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food. The word teppanyaki is derived from teppan, which is the metal plate on which it is cooked, and yaki, which means grilled, broiled, or pan-fried. The master chefs will dazzle you with their samurai like swordsmanship as they slice, dice, juggle and entertain while preparing delicious food on a sizzling Teppanyaki grill.

Been at other locations in Toronto they r fantastic.But this one this one !!! Worse experience ever from coming in till end .They made us wait over 30 minutes even though we made reservations the guys who were at the front working kept entertaining other guests coming and ignored us and made us seat by the door with cold breeze while with kids .our chef seemed forced to be work food rushed to be cooked.didn’t taste the greatest and plus it made me and my other family members have extreme diarrhea terrible .

ENFORCED GRATUITY OF 15% WITH POOR SERVICE Waited 35 minutes to receive drinks and place an order despite arriving on time for a group reservation. Had to go up and find staff to replace drinks, and ask to receive the steamed rice for 3 of our group members despite everyone already having all of the food. The actual food and show itself was good, but the hour after our reservation leading up to the show starting was a poor excuse for service in a highly priced dining establishment. Used to frequent this place with my family when I was younger when I lived locally to the location, and never had an experience like that. That was 6+ years ago so I guess the service has gone down hill. Despite the complications I was still willing to tip something to not be a total ***hole, and then was forced to pay more for tip from the same waiter who provided poor service. $165 bill for 2 people with 2 drinks each and 1 appetizer. $24 of that bill was enforced gratuity for bad service. We went there for a birthday celebration and if we wanted the staff to say happy birthday with their "drum line" to our patron that would have cost an additional $10. What a joke.

First time for our family. Steven (sous chef) made the experience wonderful. Food and service were great! We will definitely be back! However, wait for a coupon as it is a bit pricey.

We took the 7-courses meal bought in Groupon and had the dinner in Burlington. Had to pay for birthday package for $10 that includes cheesecake, crown to wear for bday celebrant, and family picture plus birthday song from the crew! Deluxe combo - Filet mignon, lobster tail, chicken and scallops tastes amazing!

I took my kids there for Mother’s Day yesterday and they loved it and so did I. It was my first time there. Price is a bit high for what you get, in my opinion. We’ve had a great time.

Your entire party needs to be present to be seated, so if you've got chronically late friends/family- time your booking accordingly. Drink service was quick and friendly, order taking was easy and we were asked if we needed assistance if it was our first time. I have an allergy, so they timed the cooking around that without delaying courses. I'm comfortable with their level of care and precautions to ensuring no mollusks came near my food during the process. Call ahead if you have a severe allergy. Edamame, chicken wontons, tuna rolls, salmon rolls, and spring rolls were all fresh and tasty. The chef was friendly, funny, and skilled at his craft. He cooked delicious food, quickly and accurately, with flair. The steak, shrimp, and salmon were amazing! The portions were generous, and I'll be asking for extra veggies next time for sure. Everyone was very happy with their meals and the entertainment. It was great value for the price, and met my expectations for this restaurant. I'd absolutely come back. I'd already had a few pieces of steak when I took the blurry picture.

It was an extremely fun and entertaining experience! This was our first visit to Hibachi Teppanyaki, and we were all very pleased by our dinner and the skills of our chef, Stephen. It is quite cool to see the chef show their skills right in front of you. We left full thanks to generous portions and thoroughly pleased with our experience. Highly recommended!
