Probably one of the best Harvey’s I have visited! Service was superb, food was made fresh and the poutine was layered to perfection! And I really appreciated the gentleman repeating our order to us at the window to avoid any missing items! Keep it up 😊

Was disappointed with my first visit to this location last week. Food was ok, not great, and service/training/organization of staff was noticably bad. When I arrived to place my order in store, it was not too busy inside, 1 table of two were seated and there were 2 people in line. I got in line and asked if they still sell the triple pickle poutine and the cashier had no idea what I was talking about. I figured the promotion had ended, and she just didn't have the knowledge to tell me that. Maybe she just started, I don't know. But she could have asked a coworker for help but she didn't, she kinda just made me feel like an idiot. Once I placed my order for an Angus burger with cheese and fries I waited for it to be ready. The staff called "Angus burger with cheese" and I looked over to make sure no one else had that order (this responsibility should not be placed on the customer) and no one walked up to the glass so I walked up to the glass and started saying what I wanted on my burger and then another customer started listing off ingredients from further down since I guess we both had the same order. But did we? No! Halfway through her listing of ingredients she said "oh I ordered an original with cheese, sorry!" And then staff had to throw out this burger which was actually for another guy in front of me. What could have prevented this? A simple number system like McDonalds or get EVERY customer's name on the receipt. Once this happened the staff went back up to customers who had already ordered and then wrote names on receipts, but by then it was too late. Furthermore, another person in line behind me was waiting for a drink. The staff said "your drink is ready" in the most quiet way possible several times. The guy couldn't hear them and at that point I was getting annoyed so I said "I think your drink is ready" and he finally went and got his drink (again, it should not be the responsibility of the customer to get other customer's attention). And again, a simple number or name calling system could have helped in this situation. I finally get my order and leave. I open my bag with my burger and fries and I clearly got the last scoop of fries in the batch because they were all about 1 inch or smaller bits of fries. And not the long, crispy Harvey's fries I remember. Burger was decent. But their service REALLY has to improve if they want long standing customers. I won't be back.

I often visit the Harvey’s at 1950 Appleby Line (Appleby Line and Upper Middle Road) in Burlington. I use the mobile app and pick up in the drive thru. The drive thru daytime staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Burlington is a sizeable city with a small town feel. It’s nice be recognized as a regular customer and treated like a friend. I like that this location serves both Harvey’s and Swiss Chalet. I can get a side of Swiss Chalet sauce to dip my fries in (so good). The food is delicious and the people are awesome, what’s not to love?

A few years ago I stopped coming despite being a regular because of a few bad experiences. Decided to try again a month ago and the standards are excellent. Have not had an even remotely negative experience since returning. Kudos to the entire team for the turnaround, I hope my experience remains excellent.

Every time I order Ghost Pepper Mayo on my Crispy Chicken Sandwiches they put hot sauce that I hate. When I order Hot Sauce on my burgers I get Hot Peppers. Maybe the staff should be made familiar with the different sauce toppings or else what use is it to have all the choices. If the staff thinks that Hot Sauce on everything is OK then Harveys should have only one choice of sauce. It takes long to choose our toppings to customize our orders and then we never get the order right on our takeout orders.

food is good but service is bad. i usually order online and pick up my meal and you stand there like an idiot Waiting and no one asks you if you need help. I told this one lady i was here to pickup an order for "my name" and she said ok and 5 min later i asked her again to look for my name and my bag was always there ready to go. some of these people working at this location cant read and shouldn't be working there since reading is a requirement...not trying to be mean or anything but its the truth...it happens multiple times to me and my cooworkers we go there often... customer service is lacking and people need to be trained to say good afternoon, have a good day, can i help you ...
