This spot is worth our 1hour driving from Guelph to Oakville. We usually also visit a cafe after taking a giant lunch at Hangry just to make the trip solid, but Hangry is definitely the priority. Incredibly good ingredients, cooking, seasoning and balance. Sandwiches and snacks are also consistently high quality. We visit once every month, the food and good vibe at Oakville compensate the travel.

5/5 but I do have recommendations…. 1. Ask your customers what toppings they would like on their food. Burger was amazingly fresh and delicious but I don’t really like cheese on my burger and it was lacking ketchup. 2. The fries dip is great. Still I prefer ketchup with my fries. Offer either/or. 3. For done-in customers offer the food is a plate or basket rather than a take-out box.

Absolutely delicious burger, perfectly cooked and so juicy! Fries are exceptionally crispy and have amazing flavour on their own they don’t even need to be dipped, but their pink sauce is the perfect addition. I was able to customize my burger as I don’t like double patties and they were very accommodating to my food allergy. Highly recommend if you’re craving a classic burger done right!

This place is such a nice atmosphere. Love the tables. Even the washroom is adorable. The food is fairly priced and amazing! I had the Philly cheesesteak and it was so good. Bf had the pirate burger he says it’s delicious! Will definitely be coming back!

Burger was great but messy. With the box they give it in, really tough to keep things going and clean. The wait time for service negligible. The dine-in atmosphere looked dated and run-down a bit, but the idea of it all (when it was newer) was great. Bathroom was nice and clean.

We came HANGRY and left STUFFED! We had the hangry shawarma and the surf & turf burger - both were amazing and hit the spot. Perfect, crispy fries on point and everything custom made fresh to order. Looking forward to coming back to try some of the other items on the menu. Keep up the great job Hangry Pirates arrrrrhhhhhh 🍔

Went to lunch with my son and WOW. Great find. Prices are reasonable. We had the Captain and Hangry burgers and fries.You can’t put the burger in your mouth it is that big. There are two thick smash patties with cheese and the fixings. The fries have like a chili flake spice that is light and delicious. Top off with a Barbican pomegranate drink. Great meal. Go in hangry.
