Halibut 'N' Malt Fish & Chips

Fried Halibut was crisp and tasty. Coleslaw was not my favorite kind, but ok. I personally love a less chopped and more vinegar dressing, no point deduction as that's a me thing. Servers were fast and very friendly. Will definitely go back soon to try more. 😁

I was there for the first time this week with family and I will definitely be going back. I find it hard to find good fish and chips and this place was great. Even their fries were awesome. The service was great (fast, friendly and with a smile) and the place itself was nicer than many fish and chip joints. Try their homemade rice pudding too, it was awesome!

They not only make fish and chips. They make magic! The food is absolutely delicious and the quality of service is exceptional. I've been a few times now and the food reminds me of that quality "back-in-the-day" fish and chips combo that I'd get fresh from the fish booths on the (Caribbean) islands. Definitely give them a visit!

today we went to halibut n malt for lunch. immediately as i entered, i saw the waitress smile at me and seated me right away. Courtney was the best server i have ever encountered in my 20 years of living - i am not over exaggerating! she went above and beyond, not just to us but to every single customer in the restaurant. the food was fkning amazing! the fish and chips were hot and crispy. service was also very fast. the restaurant was super clean. 10/10 recommend this place!

I had the fish and chips takeaway for 2 with cod. The fries weren’t salted at all and the fish was just okay. However, the staff and service were lovely. I was promptly greeted at the door, explained my options and the food was prepared very quickly.

Great service and great food. Mainly go there for the fried seafood options. Place surprisingly feels fresh and clean for a restaurant that serves fried fish and chips along with other options that are also fried. Food is not greasy and always fried to perfection. I also tried their hamburgers, and I wasn't disappointed.

We were in the area for IKEA and craving some fish and chips so we decided to try this place out. The server/host was very friendly and welcoming. The dining area was spotless and the interior ambiance and decor was spot-on with the seafood theme. We tried their famous Halibut and chips - the halibut was flaky, crispy and delicious! Definitely a must try! They also had a special on the Haddock so we tried that too with onion rings, also a winner. Among some of the best fish and chips we've had. Also tried some garlic bread with cheese and battered mushrooms for apps. Everything tasted great and the service was fast and friendly! Will definitely come back when in the area again.
