We were in the plaza and i needed to get a quick lunch on the go. Got the lunch special, the person in the front is so unbothered when you ask something since it was my first time! The only good thing of the whole meal was the soup of the day corn one. Rice n chicken was very average

You will be hard pressed to find a better value than their daily combo menu. For $10 you get a beverage, soup, spring roll and main. This menu is available everyday open to close. This is not my favourite Hakka restaurant, but it is certainly the best value. The portions are big and we typically end up asking for takeout containers. We usually get the beef ho fun, chili beef, manchurian chicken, mango chicken, and sesame chicken. We have tried the Thai curries and pad Thai and was not impressed. Also the spice level is usually on the mild side, but we have had some inconsistent experiences. For reference my tolerance for heat is quite high, but others I have dined there with enjoyed their meals despite low tolerance for spice. If you are sensitive avoid items with chili in the name. There are plenty of mild choices. If you want courteous service and comfortable surroundings, get take out, don't ask for substitutions and eat at home. If you want a quick, delicious meal at a great price, this place is for you. Hope this review helps. Happy dining!

The daily specials are recommended. Very good value for money. The portions are huge. In addition a soup, a spring roll and a pop are included in the price. Never seen a better deal elsewhere. A gem in Markham. Please don't change!

Pleasantly surprised by this place. From the previous reviews I was skeptical of the quality and quantity of food but the food we ordered tasted pretty good. They could have given more for the cost but overall I would definitely consider ordering from here again. The chili chicken was definitely decent!

Got chilli beef and Bombay paneer. Personally the paneer was to drY BUT that being said it was deliciously seasoned. The chilly beef is battered and fried chunks which is different however it doesn't change the flavor of the meal. I ordered from UberEATS so i was worried it would be cold/gross because of the delivery time but it was honestly perfect.

I got their all day special and it came out to be around $12.50. I ordered the bombay chicken and it came with an egg drop soup with corn, vegetable spring roll, and a pop. That is crazy value these days. The bombay chicken we nice and flavorful. There were a decent amount of chicken and a ton of rice. I would definitely come back and try the other menu items.

Like many Hakka places, don't expect to receive good service. However, the food is excellent. We had Bombay Chicken and Chilli Chicken; both had good flavour and spice to them. We also tried the chicken corn soup which was disappointing.
