Hakka Town

I have tried their Vegetable noodle, Hakka chicken fried rice and Lemon chicken. And also I have ordered vegetable soup. Food is tasty and service is good. Prices are reasonable and portions are good enough for a heavy eater.

Amazing, authentic food. The best Chinese noodles I have had since moving to Canada from Singapore. Counter service is fine but never going to set the world on fire. The location is inside the mostly deserted Bayfield Mall which feels a little "Zombie Apocalypse" However I will definitely be revisiting this place when I am in the area. The Hakka Town Noodles I had were 10/10.

We go here all the time and the food is always delicious. They have a great variety of vegan options that taste amazing. Everything is so flavourful! 10/10 recommend, it’s become our favourite take out in Barrie!

A great spot for authentic Hakka food! I got the chilli chicken (dry), Hakka chicken noodles, chicken pakora, and the chicken 65. All of the dishes were full of flavour and everything tasted really fresh. The staff were super friendly and you could tell that they were passionate about the food. I've been to many Hakka restaurants and this has been the best one for sure. I'll definitely be going back to Barrie just for this!

I had a delightful dining experience at Hakka Town with my wife. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, including halal options, which was a great plus. The Chilli Chicken was flavorful and had the perfect level of spiciness. The Hakka Noodles were cooked to perfection, and the Spring Rolls were crispy and delicious. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was cozy. We'll definitely be returning for more!

2023 July 4.5★ Never expect this inside Bayfield Mall. A Hakka restaurant that is genuinely decent and rivals those in downtown. Walk inside the mall and you'll find that this restaurant (one of only a few) to be very busy during the dinner and lunch times with lots of take out orders. Certainly worth a visit while you are here or passing by. Fish Pakora $14.00 Light batter and flaky, this is certainly a good appetizer to start with. Chilli Chicken (With Gravy) $14.25 A staple and with the gravy, very good and full of flavors. Chill Beef (Dry only) $15.75 Very similar to the chili chicken, but dry. Hakka Town Noodles (with chicken, beef, and shrimp) $14.25 The noodles have that "wok hay" (firey, not spicy) flavor and was good as a non spicy dish. Bombay Chicken $14.25 Glazed in some red coloring, this somewhat sweet and hot chicken was pretty good. Pretty much everything was great. Would come again. Seating is available in the mall. 10% off if paid via cash.

Hubby & I were in Barrie for other business and found this authentic Hakka food last week. Amazing! Delicious! Located inside the Bayfield Mall. This is a family run business and they are so friendly. We came back again today as we found ourselves in Barrie, Ont again. We had Manchurian Chicken extra spicy, Shrimp fried rice extra spicy, Hakka Chicken noodles extra spicy, and Chili Chicken extra spicy. What a treat. Just as tasty and perfectly spiced as last week. We will be back again.
