Firehouse Subs Markham Road

I used to love the pulled chicken breast from here and I was almost a daily customer as I am a courier and work five days a week. Ever since they switched over to the cheap subway like plastic meat for chicken I have not returned, and I will never be eating here again. It’s unfortunate that they have lost such a loyal and almost daily customer over a decision to switch to such poor quality meat. This doesn’t only apply to this branch. It applies to the entire firehouse chain.

Definitely the worst firehouse sub location, avoid at all cost. Vegan / vegetarian employees run this location. Meat is always cold and never more than two slices. Seems like the meat cost might be coming off their salary. This has made my experience horrible enough to avoid eating firehouse sub entirely.. third time eating it cold in store, absolutely disgusting…

Fantastic 1st experience! Theming is so much fun inside. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious. The smokehouse beef brisket with cheddar cheese was amazing, excellent quality. Pickle on the side was so fresh and crunchy. Great drink selection. Highly recommended!!

First time trying Firehouse Subs, heard only good reviews about them. I ordered online as they have app/online offers. Waited about 10 minutes extra than the expected ready time, staff did look swamped with orders. They were friendly and polite. Tried the beef brisket and cheddar, smoked Italian turkey, and meatball subs. Brisket and cheddar was clear winner. Good portions and quality ingredients, bread was very good and soft. Looking forward to trying more of their hot subs!

I ordered the new smoked turkey Italian sub and the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sub, both in large. The smoked turkey Italian sub was packed with ingredients. I only ate half of that sub and I was super full. The taste was really good for that sub. The smokehouse beef and cheddar sub was a bit lacking. The sub could of had a bit more brisket but the flavor was good. Both subs came with a pickle on the side which was nice. Firehouse subs is hands down the best sub franchise if you want to get a sub. Price is a few dollars more than other sub places but you get double the ingredients here.

I went there during lunch the other day cause my coworker recommended it, I'm not really a sub fan cause whenever I eat subs I eat at Subway so my expectations were low but these guys really changed my view on subs. I ordered the "Hook and Ladder" and a large drink, I also got barbeque sauce on the side, the sub was made pretty fast so I didn't wait long and they have a huge variety of drinks available in their soft drink machine. The sub was delicious better than subway, Mr sub, or any other sub store though it's a bit pricey compared to other lunch alternatives it's definitely worth the extra few bucks.

2023 April 3.5★ Facing Markham road, amongst other restaurants, this sub fast food chain makes a decent sandwich. Medium New York Steamer $11.94 ($13.50) after taxes. It's bread is nice and soft, the sauces are good and not overly soggy. The meats aren't bad either. Though I would've liked more meat, it's not bad and well worth the price. Glad they make their pricing with proper coinage after taxes. Free parking in the plaza.
