I absolutely love their fish n chips. Been here often Food is fresh and delicious fish is quite large we order haddock fries are done to perfection also. Service such pleasant friendly and professional staff. If you love fish you should check FinCity out you won’t regret it

Ordered Haddock (since real Haddock is hard to find, most places use cod and call it Haddock). This real delicious flaky Haddock is the best I have had in years, the pc was huge, the cajun fries were slightly spicy, it was a definite treat. The sauce they sever with the appetizers was very tasty. I definitely recommend, if you like fish and chipa! I will be ordering again. The lady at the counter was friendly too!

This is the best place for fish and chips in Hamilton and beats the restaurants in Grimsby and Burlington. The halibut was just right - crispy but tender inside. The fries were great. The sauce was superb. The Mango sodas are a treat. The young lady was super nice and the place was very clean. The food didn't take long either. If you live in the Horseshoe area and crave fish & chips this is THE place to go.

I love fish and chips but due to being Celiac I cannot enjoy it as I used to. Stoney Creek has a number of fish and chip places but I couldn’t find one I liked and that offered gluten free options. My son had suggested that I try Fin City. I decided not to order online since I live close by and wanted to experience the service and the food. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We placed our order and had a seat while we waiting. There was a steady stream of customers coming in. Most seemed to have ordered online but everything was managed efficiently. I was a bit skeptical about what the food would be like based on reviews. I should not have worried. The fish orders ( gf cod and regular haddock) were cooked perfectly. The gluten free batter on the cod was perfection. Crispy. Crunchy. Not greasy at all. The fries were some of the best I’ve tried and the haddock and chicken strips were also very good. I ordered the two piece cod dinner and by the picture you can see it was a large size. Almost two complete dinners for some. For me a meal and nice snack. Overall the meal was great. The staff were wonderful. The service perfect. I love eating out and I make a greater effort in reviewing those places that exceeded my expectations. Fin City accomplished that. I will make another visit soon. Very soon. Keep up the great work!!!

Fin City is possibly one the best fish and chips places in the area. The owners are always nice as is the staff. They have a separate fryer for gluten free options. Portions are nice size and always have plenty of condiments. Tartar sauce is also very good too.
