Famoso Italian Pizzeria - Heartland Town Centre

Food, service, atmosphere were all wonderful! Very tasty meatballs and pasta. Happy hour was a nice surprise and oddly I found the single serve pizzas tastier than the larger ones we ordered. Love the booths and coziness. We had a wonderful time. Great for larger parties. We’ll definitely be back!

Went here with high expectations and they were dashed the moment we ate Bruschetta. It felt as if they over fried some naan and got it. No taste, absolutely dud! Later on we ordered their BBQ Chicken Pizza which got some life when we sprinkled a lot of chilli flakes and chilli oil. Food wise it is total thumbs down. However, the staff is pleasant and the vibe is good.

Tldr; good food, good service! Came here for a work team lunch recently since one of my colleagues suggested we try this pizzeria. We had a fairly large team but we were seated quickly and had great service throughout. We ordered a mix of apps and mains and all of the food came out at an expected pace. The prawn rose (recommend!) and bruschetta appetizers were amazing. The majority of the team ordered pizzas with a few ordering sandwiches, and everything looked fantastic. I had the Abbruzzo pizza (pictured, regular 12"), and it was delicious. No negative reviews from the team! Will definitely visit again.

I had a fantastic experience at Famoso Italian Pizzeria. The tomato soup was simply delicious, rich, and full of flavor. The pizza was perfectly baked with a crispy crust and fresh toppings that made every bite enjoyable. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

The best Italian pizza in Toronto. The quality of food and service is stunning here. Their new chicken tenders are super crispy and juicy as well. They are the best. Highly recommended to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Toronto 🥂

The pizza at Famoso is so delicious! I've been to this location on two occasions, and the first visit was great, with no complaints about food or service. However, during my second visit, I wasn't impressed with the service - there was a long wait for my pizza, and my salad was drenched in dressing. The pizza is amazing, so I'll definitely go back!

The service was one of the worst I’ve had in a while. Which is incredibly disappointing as this was our first time trying out the restaurant. The atmosphere was great. I loved the vibe of the patio. But our service was not acceptable. We ordered drinks, an appetizer (we requested to come first) and entrees. Our server almost left the table before taking the order of the third person in our party. One drink came out followed by an entree, then another drink, the appetizer and then third drink. We waited a quiet while the other food to come out with no update from our server. When items came to our table he just drop them at the end of the table rather then passing or placing the items to the person how ordered them. For the price point of the food I was expecting a better service The two other people I was with enjoyed their meals. My pasta was incredibly salty but I did enjoy the appetizer.

My family and I wanted to try this place for quite some time now and we decided to go for dinner on Sunday May 12. We called in advance to make sure there was availability and there was so everything was going smoothly. When we got there, we got our table fairly quickly, unfortunately this is when everything started to go down hill. No one came to us for quite some time and when someone did come they just advised that they weren’t our server and they were just going to take our food order. It was about 30-45 mins to get our food to the table, we had the Margherita Pizza, Meatball, Fettuccine Alfredo, Gnocchi and a kids Mac & Cheese. Mind you, during the time we were waiting for our food, no one came to let us know if there are any delays or refill our drinks. Once the food came it, it was all pretty decent except the meatballs which were probably the best thing we had there. Luckily we came during happy hour and most of our dishes was less then usual price. To end the experience our server came once, which was at the end to give us our bill. We would consider coming back only during happy hour but we hope the staff are more attentive to their customers.
