Exit 156 Port Severn Restaurant

Fabulous staff. Excellent food. I live local and have had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Grateful for such an old school home cooked restaurant in my community.

Truck stop food, cheap and cheerful and decent tasting, pasta for takeout is mushy but good flavour. Great salads, okay-ish curries. Decent for the price.

EXCELLENT FOOD CITE CHOICES Would’ve given full stars; however, they are often understaffed. There’s one particular waitress who really tries hard but has a sour attitude. We had to listen to her one time going on and on about how she’s a cancer survivor, but the owner doesn’t care about her health by not scheduling enough staff to help her. I feel badly for her, but that was extremely unprofessional. A member of the kitchen staff awkwardly came out to help in the dining room area when it slowed down in the kitchen. To the owners, enough staffing would show more care on your part and ensures customer satisfaction. To the staff, not to sound mean, but honestly, the rant made it uncomfortable for many. No one wants to hear that while dining out.

Tasty food and great service! We had the burger (very big and juicy), the Chicken Caesar wrap, and the Philly Cheesesteak (full steak on it!) sandwich. The fries were good and hot and all of the meals were fresh. The server had a huge smile on his face the whole time we were there and was looking after 4-5 tables while working the cash and bringing out food. Would go back again.

Very bad food, ordered a bunch of items for a group of 11, the steak dinner was burned, and roast beef was too salty. Surprisingly, the Alfredo pasta was barely edible. Calamary and onion rings were okay. Would never recommend the place!! Absolute waste of money.

We pulled into Port 156 after a long motorcycle ride from Mississauga to Port Severn. It was a perfect spot to refuel ourselves and our bikes (gas station on-site!). They even have Tesla Superchargers, which is a bonus for electric vehicle riders. By the way, they have weekly specials on different days, so keep an eye out for deals if you're looking to save a buck. We tried the fish and chips - decent, but nothing mind-blowing. But the real star was the calamari! It was lightly fried and perfectly seasoned, absolutely delicious. We also saw some burgers that looked amazing, so that might be the next menu item to tackle. While I wouldn't necessarily make a special trip to return, it's a solid choice if you're already in the area.

Went there for lunch with my parents. We had the two specials and a fish and fries. Not bad. The curry was good as was the samosa appetizers. The fries were well fries. Portions are large. We sat inside, but there are some nice outside seating with a view of the bay behind the restaurant.

Food taste good. Waitress are friendly and polite with great services. Price is reasonable in cottages area. However, note that the waitress won't follow the Ontatio law to check COVID-19 vaccine proof. If you show it to her, she will look at it. But while I was there, she never asked anyone come in dine in for lunch.
