Decent Indian food. Potion size is extremely worth for the price. The menu has changed a little bit under the new ownership, but food is still good. Will come back again

I ordered puri chole and the curry was like not fit to eat. Looks and tastes like leftover food from weeks. I garbaged the curry. Also, my friend ordered kulcha, really not worth price and burnt. Really bad experience, wouldn’t recommend at all. At least they should value people’s money. Please go to other restaurants.

I have few great reasons for giving it a 5 stars. 1) great service especially the owners of the restaurant are so nice. Preeti makes our day whenever we visit. She also takes extra care of each customer. 2) Music. OMG!!! They ask us if the music is fine and plays our favorite music. Mine was already playing old classics 💖 3) Fooooood. Uuuuuh how amazing is the taste. I love authenticity of each dish Last but not least 4) the interior they upgraded... It looks really nice now and the new seating arrangement is really nice, spacious and comfyy.

I went to this place straight from brampton and I have tried their Masala Amritsari Kulcha, Redi-Wala-Kulcha, Gobi and Aloo Parantha. 1. Kulcha and chhole was good in taste and it was served withchutney and onions in it, I have already tried kulcha in Amritsar, Punjab so my expectations was high because I have tasted a benchmark for me and yes Desi-Licious taste was very yummy here. 2. Redi-vala-kulcha was very balanced in taste and it was served with pyaz tadka style chole and it was really good in taste. 3. Gobbi Parantha was fantabulous in taste. Thnkew so much to the owner for complimentary sweets and your one of the best Masala Chai to us Over all you can try this place. Majhe valleyo must go and try amritsari kulcha, amberser di yaad aaju ❤️❤️

A great restaurant for authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. When in doubt, the chef is available to explain the items on the menu and prepare the meal according to your preference. The tea masala (chai) is to die for. Manpreet prepares delicious tea and offer exceptional customer service.

Order: nutri kulcha special uber eats ( buy 1 get 1 free) This hurts to find that once a good quality and delicious restaurant is really serving reheated packed naan. Received 4 naans instead of kulcha= 2 had garlic/coriander bits in it (nanak garlic naan) and 2 were plain. When ordering from a restaurant one hopes to get their food made/cooked in house, not reheated naans that can be done at home. This restaurant WAS good , just disappointing to find an indian restaurant faking the food. The curry wasn't much in taste either.(tasted more like salsa with nutri in it ) 1 star for heating the food and packing. ** we called to ask why they would even serve and the one answering phone kept insisting they make kulcha fresh in restaurant and when mentioned the 2 different types of naans packed said perhaps we got wrong order - please keep intregety of the food if not the taste or price. **

A small family operated East Indian Cuisine restaurant in Barrie serving refreshing and homely food. We requested for spicy food and got precisely that. The food will not appear like another Indian restaurant as the owners strive to offer dishes cooked the way they believe they ought to be cooked. The chicken, goat and paneer dishes ordered by us were well cooked and spiced right for us. The biryani was great as well. The only sore point was - they don't serve water. You have to order bottled water with your meals. The management needs to reconsider this decision as it does not go well with Indian hospitality as such (we even serve water to our enemies)!

Very good and fresh food. Great customer service and very friendly staff. Resonable prices. Definitely the best place for Authentic Indian (Punjabi) food in Barrie.
