Denninger's Bistro Restaurant

I went to the hot counter for lunch and got the smokehaus schnitzel and was not disappointed! Big sandwich that tasted awesome. I had no idea Denningers did hot lunches but I'm glad I know now! Would much rather eat here than any fast food joints. Definitely try these guys out if you're hungry!

A nice wide variety of hot table breakfast and lunch as well as fresh bakery and grocery. Angela who checks me out for my coffee in the morning is one of the kindest people and makes the over all shopping experience here amazing. Always answering questions and suggesting new items. Thank you to all staff especially who prepare the food as it is very delicious.

I use to love this store. Very nice place until I went in today! The washrooms were dirty and the staff who cashed me out was a bit of pudding. Let me explain that experience. As I observed while everyone was cashing out. The cashier was saying hi and chatting and being polite to everyone. However, when I reached at the till area to cash out, Not a word! Not even an eye contact, until she had to let me know my total. To tell you the truth I was ok with it. Wasn’t thinking to much of it. Then it came down to a simple question I had asked her. The way she responded, well it was upsetting. She was not interested in anything I had to say. Nor was she nice in any way. Very short and well rude. I simply asked, is there a clear plastic bag here or anywhere so I can put the meat in it, before I put it into my backpack , so it wouldn’t get dirty. Even before I can finish she said no. Not even suggesting a solution or anything. Perhaps the meat counter could have rewrapped it, or some sort of solution. She dismissed me like I were some kind of a child. I felt a little embarrassed to tell you the truth. Please be kind to your customers. We are the ones who keep you open and help pay your pay check. Hope this experience do not happen again. I do enjoy browsing and getting treats for my family along with the cooked foods. The cook food by the way is very delicious. Keep up the good work and that department. The baked donuts and pastries are amazing as well. I would definitely suggest given them a try and hopefully your Experience is not as bad.

First visit, from out of town. Super impressed. Lineup at the deli counter let me know that this was the place to be. Line went very quickly. Schnitzel on a Kaiser seemed to be most people’s choice. Super fresh Kaiser dressed with loads of toppings. I chose sautéed onions, sauerkraut and shredded beets with honey mustard! Amazing. Thick chicken patty, moist too. It was enormous. Highly recommended. A lot of staff members on hand who volunteer to help. Can’t wait until my next visit!

I have eaten here many times throughout my life. Always a good experience. The most recent time I went I had the cabbage rolls and they are delicious! I had a side of Spaetzle and mixed vegetables as well. The noodles were great as well but the vegetables could have been cooked a little softer for my taste. Overall it was a large amount of food. Definitely recommend for takeout or dine in.
