Our family got here today, it's our first time here and enjoyed a perfect meal to celebrate the upcoming new year, it was so welcoming and attentive, the food here is affordable and tasty, would recommend it to friends around!

Super cute place for brunch! Atmosphere (holiday themed as of the time of writing) was so neat. Lots of neon lights and friendly fixtures. Service was pretty good, and most importantly the food was delicious. The California Benedict was so tasty; smashed avocado was such a nice touch. Portion sizes were great. Often for brunch I find the portions to be quite big, it was nice to have just a tad bit less potatoes than “normal”. It’s still a good size portion though, for those that might be concerned. Overall I highly recommend.

Great food n service! Lovely cute location! Ordered Spanish omlette : 10/10! Super fab Avocado toast: very average. Doubt if avocado was fresh or it was. Store bought guac! 4/10. Was also expecting pickled onions! Raw onions tasted bad Chocolate waffle: 8/10 excellent! Orange juice:10/10 Will definitely come back!

Food and service were excellent! Prices are comparable to what’s available in the Millcroft area. The seating was a bit tight but understandable since it seemed to be a popular place for breakfast.

This has become new favorite ❤️ love that they have a lot of Halal options and appreciate all the efforts the owners are putting into getting certified 🙌! The serving staff could be friendlier however everything else is so good about this restaurant that we always want to go back :)

I was in a bit of a rush for breakfast, but didn't want to go to the typical go-to restaurants. Decided to try something new and stumbled upon Daylight Grill. I mentioned that I was short for time, and they immediately rushed to my table with a menu and took my order. My food was made in about 10 minutes, leaving me with tons of time to eat. I ordered the bacon egg benedict with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Man was it delicious! Exceptional customer service and very tasty food. Highly recommend! Will definitely return!

Food was absolutely amazing, all ingredients were fresh, service was top notch and chicken is halal, burgers are halal and halal bacon, but please check with your server. Burger was perfectly seasoned and cooked, smoked salmon was super fresh as was the wrap. Thank you Cynthia, awesome server. Definitely will be back!

Updated* I went back a tried them again and had a much better experience! I had the avocado toast with sausages and it was to die for! Original review: Love the decor in the restaurant! The food was ok, and service wasn’t the best but overall a decent experience
