Dav’s HotSpot Restaurant + Lounge

Stopped in to try the fully loaded Mac plate which contained Mac and cheese, 6 med chicken wings and 3 fried shrimp. The Mac and cheese was very creamy and well loaded with extra cheese and drizzled with garlic sauce on top which made it very rich. The 6 chicken wings were very small and basic medium sauce tasted no different than wings you would get at any pizza place. (They are nothing close to red rockets, if you know you know) The shrimp were good crispy but unfortunately nothing was particularly made fresh and it was all seasoned salty, just all seemed warmed fresh. For $25.99 I’m not sure I would try this again. I’d rate 3/5 just because it was real food and the Mac was very rich.

First time!!! This food is amazing and I could only imagine eating it there would be better!!!! UNREAL I haven’t had a meal this bountiful or flavourful in so long!!!!!!! The flavours are so delicious and deep and each bite is better than the last! From the bottom of my heart thank you very much and I look forward to eating here much more!!!!!!!

I seen some people on fb hating on the food but it looked good to me, so I decided to give it a try myself! I was VERY satisfied, and that’s why u can’t believe everything u see online 😭 DEFINITELY my style of food, the music was GREAT, like it was from my own playlist, the servers had a sense of humour and was very understanding to it being my first time! Idk bout anyone else, but it was great bang for my buck and I might even bring a shorty (or 2) on a date there 😏 chill vibes!!!

Ordered the loaded mac and cheese. Got the spicy and seasoned mac and cheese and it wasn’t too spicy but good flavour. It was topped with crumb fried wings and crispy Cajun shrimp! The plate was loaded with these nice sauces on top which just pulled the dish together!!! So delicious and must visit!!! Gotta try the jerk chicken next time :)

I've loved the food from Dav's for a while now but until recently, they only had their location in Mississauga which I wasn't able to get to often because of their hours, so it made it very difficult when the craving kicked in. So I was beyond excited that I saw they were opening up in Hamilton, which is much closer to me. Since opening, I've been twice now. Their food is delicious, fresh, and you can see they care about the quality and presentation they put out there, and the staff I've encountered here were always so nice which is 10x better then the customer service I got from the Mississauga location when I went. The food is a little pricy, but if you get the loaded mac which is my go to and is a highly popular option, there is so much food and enough for 3 or 4 meals so well worth it. I'll definitely keep supporting this business and highly recommend anyone who loves stick-to-your-ribs comfort food to check it out.

My boyfriend has been raving about this place from Mississauga and it finally opened in Hamilton. He took me to pick up dinner and we went home to eat. Very clean place and I love the environment. When we got home and started to eat….. it took my breath away. Flavour explosion! I am a big foodie and I would deff put this place in my top 2. Delicious food! The hot honey is not that hot but deff perfect when you are craving something sweet but need a change from honey garlic. The hot wings however could still be hotter but taste great. Mac and cheese 11/10 delicious. The jumbo shrimp was fantastic. Davs secret sauce 11/10! Will most definitely be back and share with friends and family! The only thing we noticed was that the portion sizes in Mississauga were bigger compared to the Hamilton location.
