Dairy Queen (Treat)

If I could I'd go here every day. I mainly go for a Blizzard every now and then and they're really good. I usually get the Royal Reese Brownie Blizzard and it's like the best ice cream I've had. 10/10

The staff were incredibly kind and understanding when I came close to closing time as the hours are posted on the building, and gladly made mine and my friend’s blizzards while remaining friendly and quick, my experience at this Dairy Queen has been nothing but great as the staff are kind and always have a joke to crack, and also make their orders in a timely manner and always to the tea of what we’ve ordered. My #1 spot for ice cream in Burlington since i’ve lived here for the past 17 years, I live nearly 15 minutes away and always make the extra trip because its such an enjoyable atmosphere, and I always credit the workers working late hours in the summer and remain kind to them as we’ve all worked in fast food at least once!!! Incredible service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hours say 10pm arrived at 8:55 and the girl at the counter refused to serve us saying they were closed. Will never waste my time with this place again. Fix your hours or stay open until posted time. It’s summer who closes at 9pm, plus they refused service 5 mins before 9 pm as well . Waste of time.

Arrived at 8:55 pm the employee saw me coming to the window and rushed to close. Very disappointing service, it takes less than 5 mins to make an ice cream cone out of a machine ! Also, what dessert place closes that early in summer. It’s not even dark by 9pm and the hours online say 10pm ! FIX YOUR HOURS ! Disappointing service and hours.

MAIN COMPLAINTS: Unfortunately, the hours displayed online are not accurate and me and my family have gone there long before they were said to close, only to find that they were in fact, closed. It is a waste of gas money. There is a McDonalds on the next corner which can satisfy kids but in my opinion, their ice cream isn’t as good. There were a handful of times where I have run into some employees who were acted quite unkind and impatient towards teenagers and younger kids without parents with them. This is not okay, as being unkind towards customers will lead to those customers not wanting to go to your business. Fortunately, I have not seen this much as of late. On the positive side, the food is really tasty and they have a large variety of choices to satisfy pickier people like myself. The food tastes fresh, and the usually short wait time is also much appreciated. Aside from the other issue listed, the employees are kind, friendly and thoughtful towards customers and are very quick to make orders, even when they get busy! TL;DR: Food is good, place is nice, staff are generally kind. Fix the hours online, and make sure the people you’re hiring don’t have a short fuse.

Adorable little sweet shop. The staff here are friendly and service is quick. Well spaced so I don't have to drive so far just to get my favourite smoothie (strawberry banana all the way). Blizzards, cones, shakes, smoothies, and more. Parking is easy and there are always enough spots, plus leaving the lot to get back onto the road is simple enough.

I've lived across DQ in Plains Rd. for 6 months now and how I wished I've tried it sooner. I love the variety of flavors on the menu. Would have given it a 5 if they got waffle cones though. 😊
