Was taking a bike ride down the Waterfront trail in Hamilton. Saw a sign for a trailside pub!! Walked down a little path and found Crooksy's. Patio and inside seating, drinks on tap or by the bottle or can. Your favorite pub food selections! I sat on the covered patio but on a hot day it gets very warm under those canopies (a couple of fans would do the trick). Cool interior seating makes a cozy little neighbourhood pub. Stop by if your craving a pint along the Waterfront trail. 4 stars

Ordered nachos and wings.. nachos were just ok. Wings were good. Reasonable priced food.. fun little place.. unfortunately i make better.. hype on facebook but overall will never be back..

Stumbled upon this gem by chance. Super welcoming and friendly atmosphere, nice people- these folks are great! Burger special day- the burger was so good. Like really good. Juicy, meaty with really fresh, good quality toppings. The poutine was yummy too. We will be back! I actually don't want to leave. Thank you!!!

Always looking for small local establishments and found the perfect one tonight. Welcoming from the outside and in. Service was friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing and loved the small town community vibes. Nachos w/killer chili and club Sammy w/rings and a cold one to wash it down was not disappointed. We will be back

We were greeted with a friendly smile immediately upon arriving. Great staff and atmosphere. Had a great time looking at all the memorabilia and photos around the interior. Visited based on seeing all the other great reviews. We were not disappointed! Had the weekend fish and chips special!

Amazing wings! The house draft beer was tasty and reasonably priced. Service was top notch! Super friendly, fast and courteous. Cozy little patio... A hidden gem!! We will be back!

A quiet little gem that once you find it you will make it a staple. Always smiling and welcoming staff, the standard pub menu is envisioned a little different and is definitely fresher and tastier than the frozen chain stuff. What ever sports game is big that day will be in eye shot on the Big screen or 2 smaller TVs. I have no doubt you walk away smiling full and satisfied looking forward to come back!

The Wednesday burger specials were amazing - I had the Hammertown (coffee rubbed), and will definitely be back to try the rest. All of them are different and interesting. The crispy fries had some seasoning which boosted them to another level. The beer selection is great, and Mike did not go wrong with his IPA suggestion (these were also on special). He and Emily were so friendly which added to the easygoing, fun atmosphere. I just had to post a pic of my receipt because I can't believe I had two drinks and a full dinner for that price. It's incomparable! There is no question why there are regulars. Definitely try this place out. Also, it's steps away from the beach!
