Church's Texas Chicken

Worker took advantage of a me who forgot that taxes were canceled on some foods and stole my dollar. Only left 3 medium sized lids for drinks. Food was pretty good would prefer more chicken less batter. Fries were alright. Atmosphere felt good very open space reminds me of Dr. Evil’s headquarters in the first Austin Powers film starring Mike Meyers a fellow Canadian.

Enjoyed the Mexican chicken sandwich and a biscuit - nice, soft and fluffy, the best biscuit I had in a long time. Mexican Sandwich is good value to what you get and flavour vise, it has a kick. Friendly service.

The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, The Food Is Awesome! The chicken is cooked to perfection! The staff were kind enough to let my friend and I bring our mountain bikes inside for peace of mind and safety. I highly recommend Church's Texas Chicken to Everyone!

The chicken I bought was old... you could see the black bone and it had a lot of salt... I only ate the potatoes and the butter. $15

My son and I have been coming to churches here on Burton St., East at Centre mall for the last 34 months we come here almost every week and we have never had a problem. The food was superb tender churches biscuits are the best the tenders are just as the way they say, tenders Fantastic and the poutine is just so amazing The people that work here are kind, friendly, and professional of what they do

While the chicken itself was EXCELLENT and the biscuits were not bad with the lil butter/honey drizzle, the service (lack off) and overall dirty and what seemed like disarray in the store begged the 3 stars. Be mindful that the original fried chicken lacks salt (and I'm not huge on salt), the spicy was much better (while I asked for original - non-spicy, seems they were short a few pieces and made the executive decision that I needed spicy in my life). I like the fact that it was not dripping with grease (hands were not overly greasy after) and it was perfectly cooked all the way through, without being dry. Tip! Get all those workers you have behind the counter / in the kitchen to actually work and not just stand around and maybe the service and speed will improve?
