We came on a Friday night and had a great Mexican meal. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The guac and street corn were generous portions and perfect as a combination for dipping. Our al pastor and fish tacos were tasty and a good balance of textures and flavors. The curious felt a bit dry but the ice cream was perfection! Parking available in plaza. Great ambiance. Highly recommend reservations!

Came here for a double birthday dinner I ordered the fish tacos OMG! They were beyond delish. Everything came fresh hot and full Of flavour. Wee got the pork tacos fish to as beef tacos street corn guacamole and a fried cheese. Definitely need to come back Our server was Naveen. He was awesome. Had a big smile!

Chúuk has been on my list for a while now and finally got a chance to try it. As a huge fan of authentic Mexican food, I think anyone coming here expecting Mexican diner prices or the authentic Mexican flavors would be disappointed. This is definitely as described, modern. The restaurant is very cozy. I’m personally not a huge fan of loud music in restaurants and always find myself straining to talk to people at my table. The food definitely makes up for it. The guacamole was fresh and the chips were crunchy and warm. The cassava fries were amazing! The grilled shrimp and grits were good but the tacos were even better. The cocktails were yummy! They’re not too alcoholic and you can taste all the ingredients. Will hit the desserts next time :)

I haven't been to Chúuk for a long time and I had forgotten what I was missing. Besides their delicious Mexican cuisine, they have great cocktails, fantastic premium choices from their bar, a sophisticated ambiance, and great service! My friend and I started with their Cassava Fries, served with a chipotle mayo. It was a good start. Our cocktails arrived shortly after - Caribbean Punch (secret rum blend, pineapple-punch, nutmeg) for me and Thought Bubble (gin, soursop, prosecco cordial, avocado leaf, lime) for her. Both drinks were really good and it was our first time having Soursop Rum Liqueur. I never even knew this existed! For our meal, we had their Baja Fish Tacos and Campchano Tacos. The latter had chorizo, beef, cheese, avocado, and other delicious ingredients. They were all loaded with flavour and delicious!

Recently visited Chúuk Mexican restaurant and found the food to be just okay. The tacos were a decent 7/10, the corn and guacamole were good, but the salad was disappointing, and the oysters were just average. While the atmosphere was cozy with impressive interior design, presentation, and the service was good, overall, the experience didn't quite meet my expectations. It's a nice place to try once, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.

Overall great experience. I came here with some friends, and sat on the patio. The atmosphere was inviting, and relaxed. The restaurant was clean, and well laid out. Everyone was pleasant to talk to. Our server, Leah, was great. She was attentive, personable, and genuine. Our food and drinks came out in a reasonable time. Everything was fresh, delicious, and presented well. This is definitely a great place to check out!

My sister in law found this place based on Google reviews. This place was super busy on a Sunday evening at 5pm. I really liked the decor of this place. We got a table of 4 immediately. The guac was a bit tangy, but came with a lot of guac. Unfortunately you can't mix and match tacos, but thankfully we shared. All the tacos were good but nothing crazy. Would recommend, but I'd probably choose somewhere else to try and not come back.

Their service was very friendly! But the dishes were a bit lacking, especially for their price point. The pork in the pork belly tacos were a bit over done, the other tacos tasted a bit on the simple side, the flan tasted and had the consistency of a cheesecake. The apps were really great though, especially the cassava fries and crudo de átun. We appreciated the vegan options as well as the option to make cocktails into mocktails. Some things I would have enjoyed for the tacos - double tortilla - red/green salsa and limes to share What I love about this place is their ambience - it's decorated so beautifully. Also, some of the ingredients used are local/sustainable, which is always a plus!
