Choobee's Fries

1st disappointment was the size of the burger. I grabbed it out of the bag and it felt like a kids McDonald's cheeseburger. 2nd the "smashed burger" was smashed to the thickness of a slice of cheese. So...it was not a juicy burger nor was it remotely filling or worth the money. Then I had an after tastebin my mouth and have been on the toilet 4 times.

Order 3 cheese burgers and a medium fries for take out. For 8.50 these cheese burgers are small for that price and honestly tasted horrible. I ended up throwing out the burgers because the flavour on them tasted off. The fries were a MASSIVE amount for a medium and had good flavour, well salted, and definitely what I want from a fry. While the fries were good, I prefer to not make them my entire meal. Over all this wasn't worth it, and honestly quite disappointed with it, I was excited to go here and this ended up being not worth while.

Delicious fries, onion rings, smash burger and chicken burger. Huge helpings of fries! We couldn't finish them (so delicious) Our server was excellent, cheerful and helpful, warning us that might be the case. (I will warm them up in the oven tomorrow) We will be back!

I have been twice and have not been disappointed! The fries are the best - perfectly cooked and lots of it. I tried the cheeseburger spring rolls - delicious! The sauce that comes with it tastes great but warning you, it is spicy! This has become one of my go-to places - great tasting food that is decently priced.

This was my second time visiting Choobees, a fantastic food truck located on the corner of King and Parkdale. Their fries are incredible—crispy, delicious, and they give you a generous portion that overflows the container. I also tried their cheeseburger spring rolls, which come with a dip that’s absolutely delicious. The spring rolls themselves were filling and very tasty. Their smash burgers are really good too. I would definitely recommend giving them a try. Next time, I’m looking forward to sampling their fish and chips and onion rings! The only thing I wish is that their hours were longer so I could enjoy their food more often.

After years of procratination and missed open times I finally dropped by my local chip truck! ( not very many places I have lived, I can say that) Located in a parking lot on Parkdale and King St in Hamilton right beside a convience store. Limited seating...all out doors. Walk up service through a tiny window. Order off the menu on the wall and get your food. Fair pricing and the order sizes are enough. Not too much in ambience, except the retro feel of waiting for your food from a food truck. Food quality is good! Your typical reminiscent chip truck taste! They have some intersesting menu items that I have to try!! Cheeseburger spring rolls and the fish and chips looks good. Cash and etransfer only!! No debit or credit!! Will make the trip again when I gots the munchies! 4 stars!

Owner was super nice and attentive Ordered smash burger, cheese burger spring rolls, poutine and chicken fingers n fries 🔥 everything was so good!!! Everything was jammed packed. Thanks again! Will be back!! (forgot to take a picture of the smash burger)
