Chengdu Noodles

We had the braised pork rib noodles and pork dumplings. We also had green tea and the lemon water. It was so good. 1st time coming and will definitely come back. Service was great, food was perfect and prices were not expensive. Friendly staff.

Delicious spot at Niagara that definitely hit the spot! Cheap and yummy food, great for a cold winter day. Loved the dumplings and tofu, anything that said must try is definitely an overall favourite. Personally prefer beef over pork, but their pork was tender. The dandan noodles had minced pork which added a crispy layer to the chewy noodles. Overall not very spicy but heavy on spices, very delicious and well cooked. Highly recommended!

First time visiting Chengdu… we ordered a dumpling and noodle dish each, and shared a lemon iced tea. A word to the wise. I can handle spicy food. I asked for spicy, and my dang lips and tongue felt like they were connected to the 120V line. But in a good way :) The vegan dumplings were delicious. The beef dumplings had a savoury creamy drizzle over top. The Chengdu noodles were different than any noodle dish I’ve had before. A very unique flavour profile. Noodles were a perfect texture. Next time I’ll ask for the standard mild spice level. I must mention the iced tea. Reminds me of the good old days when you tasted tea and not sugar first. Cold, lemony, wonderful.

Incredible food that always hits the spot complimented by awesome service. The prices are unreal, so I always end up bringing some takeout home with me. Great place for vegans and non vegans! The fried beef dumplings are what dreams are made of. Thank you Chengdu!! ★彡

The best noodles in the Niagara region are back! I used to love their spot in St Catharines, and I was sad when they had to close due to rent. I am happy to say they are even better now. I took the whole family and they all loved it. My son had the thick noodles with pork ribs and ate the whole bowl. My wife had the braised beef and I had the spicy ground pork noodles. All were out of this world. My young daughter had the dumpling soup. She loved the broth but found the filling of the dumpling too "spiced". I could taste what she meant, but for me the flavour was excellent. We probably should have got her the chicken noodle soup The service was lightning quick and friendly. The prices were fantastic. The new location is cute and convenient. We can't wait to come back!!

I’ve seen amazing reviews of Chengdu Noodles on Instagram since before they closed down for a while, and was excited to finally try it at the newly opened location. After dining here, I feel like this is a good restaurant for Niagara, but my group was from Toronto and we weren’t really blown away by anything. The prices are really great and we did enjoy the meal, but we felt like there was little difference between some of the noodle dishes, and the items we ordered at the spiciest level were not very spicy. Our favourites were the shredded cucumber, deep fried tofu, and braised beef noodles. Not a bad choice at all for a meal but given all the hype I saw online I didn’t feel like it lived up to it.

Chengdu Noodles is an absolute gem in the Niagara region! This cozy spot offers some of the most delicious and authentic dishes you’ll find around here. The menu may be small, but it’s clear that they focus on authenticity and quality with every dish. Plus, their wide variety of vegan options is a huge bonus. The food is not only incredibly tasty but also very well-priced, with perfect portion sizes. I tried the braised beef noodles, pork dumplings with house sauce, and fried beef dumplings—the meat was tender, the spice level was spot-on, and for just $28 after tax, you simply won’t find a better deal. My partner sampled some of their vegan dishes, including the vegan special noodles, deep-fried tofu, and fried vegan dumplings. By substituting the sauce for their house sauce, everything remained vegan-friendly. Her meal came to just $22 after tax, which is a steal for the quality and quantity. Overall, Chengdu Noodles has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in the Niagara region, and we’ll definitely be back!
