Champion Döner

This is one of my goto shawarma spot in Mississauga. The food quality is unmatched and service is awesome. Their champion mix could easily feed 3 people. Donors are delicious too.

I recently tried Champion Doner and enjoyed an authentic Turkish meal that really hit the spot. I ordered both beef and chicken shish, kunefe for dessert, and Turkish tea. The beef and chicken shish skewers were grilled to perfection, with juicy, tender meat and just the right amount of smokiness. Each bite was flavorful, and the chicken was especially well-marinated. The kunefe was a delicious finale—crispy on the outside, warm, gooey, and sweet on the inside, striking a perfect balance without being overly sugary. Paired with traditional Turkish tea served in tulip glasses, it made for a cozy and satisfying experience. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive and friendly. The only drawback was the cleanliness of the washroom, which could use a bit more attention. If you're looking for genuine Turkish flavors, though, Champion Doner delivers on both quality and authenticity.

Amazing little Turkish döner restaurant located in Mississauga. Stopped by on the way home from Costco earlier this week when we were looking for a quick bite to pick-up for dinner and it did not disappoint. We were assisted by Didem at the check-out and she was great. My brother got the beef dôner plate, and I got a lamb shish taouk wrap. My wrap was tender and delicious. We also got a chicken sujuk pide to share, and Turkish sodas (one was orange and the other was cream soda) that we drank while waiting for our food. The sujuk pide was the highlight of my meal, but all items were amazing. Will definitely return the next time I head to Costco. The meals cost us $58.14 with taxes in.

This is one of my favorite places in Mississauga! Sadly I don't have better pictures 😅 I went there several times and my favorite option is the chicken döner box with rice and fries. Also, tried the Chicken wrap 🌯 Everything is tasty, amazing and very affordable. Can't wait to visit again and stop by there!

The moment you walk in, you're hit with a great vibe that feels authentically Turkish—warm lighting, cozy seating, and a lively atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to hang out with friends. Whether you’re catching up with someone or just relaxing, the ambiance really adds to the experience. Now, let’s talk about the food. I ordered the Chicken Donner Sandwich, and it completely blew me away. The filling was rich and creamy, packed with perfectly cooked chicken and fresh veggies, all wrapped up in the softest bread. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying—way better than I expected. If you’re a fan of donners or just looking to try something new, this is definitely the dish to go for. It’s the kind of meal that keeps you thinking about it long after you’ve left. The place was super busy, which is probably a testament to how popular it is, so the service was a little slower than usual. That said, the staff were still friendly and made sure to get my order just right. They took the time to ask me about the exact fillings I wanted in my sandwich, and despite the rush, they were attentive, which I appreciated. Overall, I’d say Champion Döner is definitely worth visiting. The food, atmosphere, and experience were all great. Even with the slightly slower service, I’d go back in a heartbeat to enjoy another Chicken Donner Sandwich and soak in those cozy Turkish vibes!

What the actual hell was that… I ordered the MTL plate. It was cartilage and fat plus fries and mozzarella cheese? What? That was disgusting, I couldn’t even finish it. I swear I’ve been here like a year or two ago and the MTL plate was drastically different. I’m extremely disappointed, this thing was 20 dollars.. what a nasty waste. I couldn’t take a bite without cartilage man! So bad.

This spot is hands down one of my favourites that I've visited multiple times since first being introduced to it. The atmosphere is nice and cozy with lots of comfortable booths and other options of seating. The staff are friendly, efficient, and happy to answer any questions you might have about the menu. They work quickly to get your order out fresh and hot, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Over multiple visits I've ordered the following: Mix Doner Plate - $17.99 (Fries & Rice) Mix Doner Plate - $17.99 (Rice & Salad) Mix Doner Box - $10.99 (Rice & Salad) Chicken Doner Poutine - $12.99 3 Pieces of Baklava - $6.49 (additional pieces cost extra) Champion Döner lets you personalize your doner experience, choose two toppings from rice, salad, or fries, and top it all off with any of the three sauces they offer: garlic, mango, or hot sauce. I highly recommend the sweet and tangy mango sauce as it's easily the best out of the three. The menu offers a variety of other options beyond doner, ensuring something for everyone. No matter your choice, the portions are generous, and the prices are very affordable. The washrooms are a bit on the small side and can only accommodate one person at a time however this is a minor detail compared to the overall experience. Delicious and authentic doner, generous portions, friendly service, and convenient locations across the GTA making them a top choice for a satisfying and affordable Turkish meal!

To sum it up in one line: Incredible service, big portion size, amazing flavours, and very friendly people, all of this at very reasonable prices. Tried their bowl and immediately fell in love with their food. Their mango sauce is out of this world. MUST TRY!! Falafels are moist, fresh and flavourful and chicken was very well seasoned and juicy. Their fries too are fresh and crispy. If you're thinking to get a dessert from them, don't hesitate. Their desserts are as good as their food! In terms of portion size, One $9.99 box was enough for my dinner as well as 10 AM snack. Besides that, their staff is friendly, smiling and always in a good mood, happy to serve their customers. There're ample number of tables in the place which makes it a good choice even on the weekends. Hope they expand but only if the other outlets can manage to maintain these high standards!! Otherwise we're happy to drive here for this.
