I can't praise this place enough. The food was not only amazing but the staff?? Absolute joy to experience. Perfect brunch spot and cute little breakfast date :))

Food always on point here. The service is great. The calamari is my favorite. The prices are reasonable especially for the portions.

The quality of food is good but portions are a bit less than most restaurants with comparable prices. The pasta pappardelle was too spicy. Also no free parking at this place, you gotta use paid parking or park a bit further 5 min walk in the alleys near the restaurant (if you find a free spot). I enjoyed the music they played though, they were playing RHCP the whole time we were there🎸🥁

We celebrated our anniversary at Caro and had a wonderful time. If you're looking for authentic Italian-style pizza, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is charming, has a perfect balance between elegant and casual. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Always a great time had at Caro on Ottawa. The service is friendly, fast and efficient. I enjoy many items on the menu with family. The only downside is no meatball sandwich 😞

We had such a delicious meal and the service was lovely! We had the spunky Zoe as our server and she was absolutely amazing. The food was SO good and we'll definitely be back again soon. This was a great place to share plates and try lots of different dishes

Enjoyed the breakfast pizza. And they permitted slight variations, so kudos for being amenable to dietary considerations. The pasta was excellent too. To quote the pasta eater “one of the best pastas I’ve ever had”. The description of truffle home fries was perhaps misleading, but tasty anyway.

Overall, the food tastes fresh and my first experience at Caro left me very satisfied. Caro serves decent staple Italian dishes, but also offers interesting food with a creative twist. I visited Caro for the first time on a Friday evening as a party of 4. The restaurant was at half capacity and had a lively warm vibe without being noisy. Service was quick and efficient, especially impressive considering there were only two wait staff. I had the 3 Little Pigs Pizza and my party shared a taste of their meals with me. My party had the Chicken Parm, Omar Pizza, Arugula Salad and we shared some Fried Calamari. The meats on the 3 Little Pigs were quality and I just loved the side of gorgonzola sauce added to the order. The Chicken Parm had 2 large pieces of chicken and a healthy serving of spaghetti. The sauce was on point and well balanced. The Omar Pizza was quite unique; the sauce was a corn purée and it had a nice touch of sweetness. The Arugula Salad with pear, toasted walnuts, and gorgonzola was also well received. The Fried Calamari was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth.
