Burger Royale

I agree with Alex's post. Went tonight (Dec.14,2024) and was very disappointed. We should had left when we saw 5 high-school girls working. The onion rings were cold and I had to reheat in airfryer ( we live 1 minute away), the fries were small left over bottom of the barrel overcooked. There was not one that was full size and edible, garbage it went. The burger was OK, nothing special. When we first tried this place, we were hooked, but the last few times disappointed. We liked it was a local small business and the food and prices were good. Sorry, last time for us.

Ordered Dec 14, 2024: I’m not one to write reviews, let alone a negative one. This is a small business and I’m conflicted whether to even post this. I’ve ordered from here in the past and had a good experience, until tonight. The chicken burger I ordered had a small, tender sized peice of chicken in. After two bites I was basically left with a bun full of lettuce. That was dissappointing, but could chalk that up to an honest mistake. I also ordered multiple dipping sauces, only to find just one in my bag. The kicker that pushed me to write this review is the current state of my stomach. Literally just threw up a couple of hours after eating here. Im no doctor but I’m connecting some dots. Place has gone down hill. All young people running the joint. My wife got their new dill burger, don’t recommend. Just disappointed all around. I hope they were just having a bad night, but we won’t be going back. Sad as this was our go-to East end burger place.

The burger was absolutely awesome which would be a 5 star but I would not recommend upping to a poutine as it is not worth the $4 extra as I had the regular fries and I had more than my wife’s poutine and had barely any cheese and no gravy. Added pictures to show the difference between your combo fries and a top up for poutine. Also looking at others reviews how does 1 person’s poutine look like that and ours looks cheap?

Went in for the first time today, the guy who took our order was very polite and patient. There was a little mixup with Mac and cheese bites, but it was quickly rectified and we were even given 2 free drinks for the “trouble”. (No trouble at all). Overall, great experience and the food is fantastic! Will definitely be coming back!

What a great burger!! All fresh food , all hamburgers are served on a toasted Brioche Bun. Fries and a milkshake to make it perfect. One of the BEST burger spots in Barrie. And a beautiful location to sit and enjoy the outside tables !! The staff are very friendly and helpful, good people. Fantastic !

It is a good spot i had their burgers before too. But this time it was absolutely not satisfying. I had their 3 piece chicken tenders with side of gravy and a dip sauce. They were totally dark and burnt. I had done an uber pickup so instead of complaining on uber and throwing a bad review i went inside to let them know this happened but the staff was absolutely rude and told me instead this is how they are served and replied in a bad way. Attaching a photo please review and let us know that either we had them wrong all the time or this burnt ones are edible.

After passing by Burger Royal for the past year and seeing the rave reviews, we decided to order yesterday. We ordered the burger combo with onion rings and the 5 piece chicken tenders. I'll start with the good. The burger was juicy and overall was tasty. The bad, onion rings was super thick which made the rings super oily and parts with uncooked batter. Literally threw them away. Next I got 4 tenders not 5 and the majority of them were charred which made for the worst taste. If I return it would only be for their burger.

So good!! Burger Royale is named appropriately. Will definitely be going back. Still just recovering from the food coma it put me in from my first visit. Super friendly and quick service. Had the onion rings as a side and they were like donuts. Highly recommend this joint!
