Great atmosphere and fit out. Cocktails delicious, pistachio espresso martini yum! Meals were very tasty, a little expensive but also great quality. Duck was fantastic and the burrata outstanding.

We love to visit Bayside for special occasions. Our most recent visit was excellent. There was a little problem with one of the dishes and when we informed our server she was pleasant and immediately fixed the issue. We started with the burrata and the fries followed by the gnocchi and short ribs - cheesecake and budino for dessert - all delicious!!! The drinks are top notch, real handcrafted cocktails. If you haven’t been to Bayside you are missing out.

10/5 night. The folks at Bayside get it. Beautiful set up, we started with some of their signature cocktails, each made with love and attention to detail. The Rhubarb Collins is insane. Next up was the Steak tartare, which was beautifully tender and flavourful. For mains I had their Agnolotti and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. So creative and unique, the description on the menu can't even do it justice. My wife had the short rib and will be talking it up for the next year. We ended with some espresso martinis and their cheesecake, both which were outstanding. On top of remarkable food, the service was incredible. Our server was attentive, engaging and passionate about the restaurant. We felt welcome and loved every minute of our time there. It was no doubt an expensive night (mostly due to all the cocktails and wine) but it was worth every penny. Can't wait to go back

The atmosphere is very laid back, and we came at a time when there weren't many customers, so it was very quiet and relaxing. The food we got was cooked very well (we had the surf and turf), and the portion was a good amount. You can tell the ingredients were all very fresh and that the chef cared about the dish.

Just wow! The food was beyond expectations and I was actually blown away. The portion sizes were perfect and the presentation made me want to dig right in. As for the flavor...probably one of the best meals I've ever had. The pricing compared to restaurants of this caliber is well below what they should be charging. We tried the chicken piccata, the linguini carbonara, caesar salad, burrata, cheesecake. All amazing. I Daniel, our server, provided great recommendations, was very friendly and personable, and we both agreed on the attention to detail executed by the chef. After I raved about the food for the 12th time, Daniel passed the messages along to the chef who took the time to meet my partner and I. ( and our dog who they allowed on the patio and brought her some water) Chef Greg explained the food is locally sourced and a lot of it is organic. Well done Greg. I'll be coming back any chance I can.

Stopped in for an espresso martini a few weeks ago and it was so good I’ve been wanting to come back to try the food — myself, my boyfriend and friend came in tonight and got the special (rack of lamb), the duck, and a burger and some drinks. Rack of lamb was hands down the best dinner I’ve had in awhile, ate absolutely everything on the plate which is rare. Our buddy got the duck and loved it and it looked great. My partner got the burger and the thought the cook was perfect and super tasty, although the bun seemed to dry it out a little much but still enjoyable. Had the grilled octopus as an appetizer, always nervous about seafood but it was cooked perfect and the marinara with it was super balanced. Cocktail menu is more elevated than most and they do a great job. Super impressed! thank you.

March 2024 - we had another dinner at Bayside and it was even better than I remembered. The service world class, the food I keep dreaming about it. 100% recommend eating here. We have had the opportunity to enjoy both brunch and dinner at Bayside Variety. The food is exceptional, the service was fantastic and kids are treated like people too. We will be back very soon to enjoy another culinary experience.
