After a long day out, we decided to try a Thai restaurant for dinner and came across Bahn Thai Restaurant through a quick Google search. The restaurant looked promising, and their menu offered a variety of appealing dishes. For my main course, I ordered the Four Flamed Fish along with Jasmine white rice. The menu described the dish as having a touch of spice, which sounded perfect for my taste. However, I was disappointed to find the sauce overly sweet with no noticeable spice at all. It just didn’t live up to my expectations. On top of the underwhelming flavor, the price was steep. At $35 for just one dish, it felt quite overpriced for what was served. Overall, Bahn Thai didn’t impress me, and I doubt I’ll be returning. Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the price or the experience.

Very nice place and lots of wonderful decorations full of Thai culture. Service is great and interactive as well as friendly although there was too much orange sugar in the chicken cashew nut which made it dehydrating but everything was great and yummy other than that.

We love the food here. So flavourful and the right quantity. Great value for money. We love Nina— always smiling, welcoming, and recommending us the right dishes. We regularly visit this restaurant. One of the best Thai places—at least in Burlington.

This place is decent and it won’t be what you expect when you go through the doors. It’s a nice little restaurant with great decor. The service as great but the food left a little to be desired. I ordered the cashew chicken and it was decent but the chicken was a bit dry and there was literally only 3 cashews on the plate. That being said the cost was way too much for what I got. Lunch cost me $30 with a small tip! Way too much for lunch! I don’t think I will be back.

Don't just a book by it's cover. When you go into the restaurant you're transported into a beautiful restaurant with ample space and deliciously authentic food. It's such a treat to have genuine Thai food. Great food & service (the server was especially kind with our toddler.)

Walking into this restaurant, you're greeted by a decor that’s a blend of traditional charm and homely warmth. Wooden beams cross the ceiling, while the lighting casts a soft glow over the array of well-crafted furniture. The ambiance speaks of comfort and a slower pace, inviting you to take a seat and just relax. The service here? Unmatched. The elderly lady who served us was a delight; she was attentive without being intrusive, always there with a warm check-in or a suggestion. It's this kind of care that makes a meal memorable. And the rest of the staff? Just as welcoming. Now, the food. We dove into the shrimp chips with peanut sauce, which packed a pleasantly spicy punch. Following up with a plate of Pad See Ew with shrimp, the flavors were spot on. The Mixed Seafood Thai Green Curry and the Spicy Mixed Seafood dish both had that authentic kick you hope for in Thai cuisine. However, when the check came at $103 pre-tax, for the amount of food pictured (plus an extra bowl of rice, a coke, and sparkling water), it did give us a moment's pause. It's a bit steep, particularly noting the portion sizes—satisfying but not generous. Despite this, I'm drawn back by the taste and the stellar service. There's a promise in the air of other dishes waiting to be tried. So yes, I'll be returning, hopeful that it’s not just a one-off experience, and perhaps next time, the value will measure up more closely to the cost.

My favourite place for cashew nut chicken!! I've looked everywhere throughout Toronto and beyond, but nothing beats the flavour here! Love going for the lunch special (comes with a spring roll, hot & sour soup and rice). The cozy ambiance, great service and delicious food make Bahn Thai a must-try if you're craving authentic Thai cuisine!

This was my first time coming here and it was such an amazing experience. Our waitress was so welcoming, and it felt like she was my own grandma. She was the nicest and cutest person I’ve ever met! We ordered the papaya salad, parang chicken curry, shrimp pad thai, and beef basal. So flavourful!
