We had came in for lunch just as they opened, yet all the staff were present and ready to accommodate us. The decor inside was a highlight. Getting to the most important part the food. We had ordered the Hakka fried rice, chow mein, kadai goat and two pina colada mocktails. The food was absolutely delicious with especially the kadai goat and kung pao being worth the order. The staff were readily coming by to make we were okay, making us feel very welcome in the restaurant. Also the music plus the big windows really gives Avani a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend as an affordable but high end Hakka restaurant.

Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and prepared to perfection. We started with the Avani House Soup, which was absolutely out of this world—rich, flavorful, and comforting. The Hot and Sour Soup was equally delightful, with just the right amount of tanginess and spice. For appetizers, the Tandoori Mushrooms were a highlight, perfectly marinated and cooked to perfection with a delicious smoky flavor. In the mains, we had the Hakka Noodles, which were wonderfully seasoned, with fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of textures. The service was equally outstanding. Pushkar, our server, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly enhanced our experience. The rest of the staff was equally warm and welcoming, with smiles on their faces that added to the positive vibe of the place. If you’re searching for a place that delivers incredible food paired with fantastic service, Avani Asian Indian Bistro is the place to go. We recently had a team outing of 16 people at Avani, a high-end Indian restaurant in Burlington, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring that all our requests were met promptly and with care. Food & Presentation: The food was exceptional, both in taste and presentation. The menu caters to a wide range of palates, offering dishes from very spicy to mild and even spice-free options, making it a versatile choice for diverse groups. I personally tried the Afghani Chicken, which was grilled chicken breast cooked to perfection. The dish featured five generously sized pieces, tender and flavorful, complemented by well-prepared onions, pickles and garnishes. It paired beautifully with cumin rice, creating a truly satisfying meal. Another standout dish is the Avani Chicken Sampler—a perfect choice for those who want to experience a variety of chicken flavors. It includes five different types of chicken, each marinated in unique spices and seasonings, offering a diverse and delightful tasting experience. The portions are substantial, ensuring great value for money. Their variety of Naan (Indian bread) is a must-try, from plain to garlic and butter-infused options—each adding a unique touch to the meal. Drinks: The mango yogurt drink (mango lassi) deserves special mention. It was not only delicious but also a perfect companion to balance the spicier dishes. The restaurant even surprised us with complimentary shots of mango lassi for everyone, which was a delightful way to conclude the meal. Service: The team, led by Hakam, the restaurant manager, was outstanding. Hakam, along with Pinak and Deepak, demonstrated exceptional professionalism and warmth. They went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable, attending to every detail with politeness and efficiency. Ambiance: The ambiance of Avani is elegant yet inviting, perfectly suited for both casual dining and special occasions. Overall Experience: Avani offers a stellar dining experience with outstanding food, generous portions, and top-notch service. The attention to detail, variety of flavors, and excellent hospitality make it a must-visit. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Burlington, Ontario.

Avani offers a refreshing dining experience with a variety of unique options that truly stand out from typical restaurants. The hospitality provided by Manveer Kaur (if I recall her name correctly) was exceptional—she went above and beyond to cater to the needs of our group of six, ensuring everyone felt well taken care of. I highly recommend trying the Baby Corn Crisp and Okra Crisp; both were outstanding. The main course was equally delightful, making for an unforgettable dining experience.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Avani, thanks to Pushkar. From the moment we arrived, Pushkar was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was exceptional—each dish was presented beautifully. I had tried some dishes there. The flavors were vibrant and well-balanced, making every bite a delight. Pushkar provided excellent recommendations and were quick to accommodate any special requests we had. Their service was both efficient and personable, making the evening truly enjoyable. Pushkar ensured that our needs were met without being intrusive. Their professionalism enhanced our meal. Overall, the quality of the food was impressive. I highly recommend asking for Pushkar if you visit this restaurant.

Can I give more than five ⭐️’s for the food? The food was so incredibly tasty and fresh. I had read a few reviews and took some of the recommendations and whoever recommended the chilli calamari-Thank you 🙏🏼 So delicious! And the garlic naan…melt in your mouth. The rest of the items that we ordered were so good…really nothing disappointed. And FYI that the serving sizes are HUGE! Really good value for your dollar but besides that it’s just really good Indian and Hakka food. it’s actually really nice not to have to drive to Milton or East Oakville or Mississauga to get Hakka. Completely 100% recommend this restaurant. Our main server and other staff were super kind, accommodating, and always checking in. superb service! My only regret was that I was too full to get dessert. Next time I’m going to have to try the coconut fried ice cream.
