Anna and Lucio's Trattoria

This is our first and last dining experience at this restaurant. The Mixed Vegetables appetizer was cold and some undercooked. An embarrassingly meager portion at $18.00. Menu stated mushrooms included, you only get one? The Calamari Fritti we wondered if this was a frozen product? Our main order of two pizzas was an hour wait. We observed numerous pizzas brought to other tables of diners who had arrived long after us. The wait was so long and I was so hungry I resorted to eating the complimentary bread basket. My partner had lost his appetite from the long wait. Our server arrived twice apologetic with no pizzas? The owner I assume informed us she would remove an appetizer from the bill due to our ongoing wait for the pizzas. When the long lost pizzas finally arrived we requested take out boxes as we were no longer hungry and our evening ruined. I did taste one slice of my Margherita pizza it was bland and tasteless with barely any tomato sauce, just cheese on dough and several tiny basil leaves sprinkled on top. My partner's Meat Lovers Pizza was mushy and unappetizing looking. Finally, to add to our poor dining experience there are ventilation issues that has kitchen smoke seep into the dining area. My eyes burned with discomfort and another diner was coughing from it. The bill was $123.32 including tip. Despite removal of an appetizer and a tiny cup of cappuccino from the bill, this in no way compensated for such a terrible non dining experience. We would have been much better off dining at a Pizza Pizza restaurant.

Decided to give this place a try with all the great reviews I ordered gnocchi and received three different shapes in a bowl covered with lots of sauce. One was shaped like a roll of hard dough and chewy. Not happy at all

Food was good! Pizza was disappointing as the toppings were not what stated on the menu, entertainment was good but too loud. Service was poor. We were not informed that there was an automatic service charge and we can only assume that as the waitress knew she was getting an automatic 20% tip. She didn’t need to give us any service. Main course took 35 min to arrive. She then disappeared we had to ask another waitress for our bill.

Went here because of the amazing reviews. Was extremely disappointed. Took at least 20 minutes to get seated despite having a reservation and several empty tables. The service was then non existent the whole time we were there. Took about 25 mins for a Caesar salad to come out of the kitchen, soup never came until we eventually flagged down a different server. Main course of pizza (meh) and spaghetti (pretty good) then took another while to come out, but at least the 2 main courses came together. Bread for the table was stale. Given all the amazing reviews, was extremely disappointed and won’t be back .

Lovely spot with fresh ingredients put together tastefully. A fine Italian meal - Homemade Caesar dressing was light and delicious, not gloppy and over-salted like most Caesars. Some of the best calamari I’ve ever had. Waitstaff was hustling despite being a bit overwhelmed at an off time. Great job all around.

Spent a wonderful afternoon with family and friends celebrating a communion. The staff and service was fantastic and the food was unbelievable. Tanya and her staff are doing a great job and take a lot of pride ensuring her guests have an unforgettable experience.

The food is fantastic it is like home cooked nonnas meals. The service and the ambience is fantastic. The penne alla vodka is 👏amazing 👏 . This is a must go if you love Italian food. I highly recommend

One of the best Italian restaurants I have tried around GTA. You have to try out this place. Food was amazing, and the staff was amiable. I would recommend this place to anyone. I managed to take a few pictures of some dishes we tried. I missed taking photos of some because the food was terrific. Great location and the vibe was good. I will come back soon.
