Ajisen Ramen was founded in Kumamoto, Japan in 1968. Over the years, the unique taste of our ramen allowed for global expansion to 800+ locations in over 15 countries such as Canada, Japan, Singapore, USA, Italy, China, and more. Despite our growth, we have stayed true to our roots. We continue to follow the same recipes that the founder used since 1968 to make every bowl with our hearts.Our name AJISEN means "a thousand tastes"and perfectly embodies the carefully crafted flavours of our ramen.

The ramen at this place was just okay—nothing really stood out about it. The broth and noodles were decent, but it didn’t have that depth of flavor I was hoping for. That said, the service was great. The staff was really friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. Overall, not a bad experience, but the ramen itself didn’t leave much of an impression.

Food was wonderfully fresh, ramen was incredible. Excellent selection of ramen and rice dishes as well as appetizers. Pictured is Potato Croquettes, Beyond Meat Bun, Spring Rolls and Beyond Meat ramen. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for japanese cuisine in the Newmarket area.

Cute little ramen place in Newmarket with a fun, modern interior. The place is clean and staff are friendly. What I ordered: 🍜 Grilled shrimp Tom Yum 🌱 Deep fried brussel sprouts The food came out very quickly and everything was tasty. Asked for my bill and waited about 13 minutes until I realized it wasn't coming and saw people paying at the back. Will definitely return and try a traditional shoyu ramen next time 😊

4.5 / 5 Excellent broth, flavor and noodles. The spicy beef is actually Sichuan spicy flavor, you get the numbing and tingling feeling in your mouth. Very thin slices of beef, feels a bit like hotpot and they soak up the spicy.oil nicely. Black garlic filet mignon, generous amount, very nice fragrance of black sesame oil. The beef was quite tender. Overall, we find the broth a bit too salty, a 5-10% less salty would be perfect. The takoyaki was a bit undercooked on the inside. The fried ebi was a little overcooked.

The food we had here this evening was wonderful and very filling. I had the Kaarage Original which came with a plate of the best boneless friend chicken I have had in a long time! My boys had the Spicy Beef and shared a plate of the Kyushu Fries and really liked them. We will definitely eat here again.

Visited during the week for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised. Very clean and spacious restaurant, we were served very quickly. I ordered the chicken karaage ramen and my husband got pork shoyu, portion size was super filling and good prices compared to other ramen restaurants ive been to. Overall we had a great first time visit, customer service was excellent and would be back again

Excellent ramen! Went in for dinner on a Sunday evening. The place was fairly busy. The ambience was inviting and the servers were attentive and prompt. We ordered a mix of ramen and some appetizers. Everything was fresh and delicious. Portions were good and the price was fair. Will definitely come back for more!!

I've been a fan of Ajisen Ramen for years, keeping the quality and service. We have tried so many other ramen places and we think this is the best ramen in Toronto. This location is new, very clean, super nice staff that are willing to help you and give you the best recommendation. My favourite dish is Tom Yum steak. I ordered steak and they served the best meat. Other locations the meat comes with fat and it's a bit chewy. To be noted, this dish is really spicy and hot , I found this location is even more spicy than other locations. The manager is aware of this and recommended that you ask for less spicy next time.
