I had an excellent experience at 2200 North! The restaurant really stands out with its friendly & accommodating staff, who made sure everything went smoothly despite the large crowd. The atmosphere was vibrant & welcoming. It’s clear that they excel at handling big events while maintaining a high level of quality.

This is not a serious restaurant/pub. While the servers are very nice, they never notice you (seat yourself sign) and most times you have to approach the bar to get served while they are on their phone. Kids playing mini sticks - in the restaurant!! Only go there while my kid plays hockey, would never go there besides that. Showed up today (June 16) and the bar was closed! Supposed to be open until 12….jeez

Service here is always amazing, atmosphere is great and drinks are priced well!! Staff gets slammed and handles everything professionally and as quickly as possible which was amazing to see! Would 100% recommend to friends and family!!

The best college bar in Durham!!! Ive always had a positive experience here because the service is phenomenal and the drinks are priced well. Thank you to the girls who tend so well to their customers. Wicked staff, so positive and friendly, they deserve a raise!!

Last year, I visited 2200 North with low expectations (it's located in a university hockey arena in Oshawa!) and was pleasantly surprised! We were treated to some high quality pub fare with twists of originality. Consequently, 2200 North became my local "go-to" (I live close-by and walk) for a pub experience. This week (Dec 2023) I visited with some invited friends and was bitterly disappointed. The food and presentation was embarrassing. Nothing that we ordered (Nachos, wings, burger and fries) was anywhere near standard, let alone special. The nachos were baked to dry concrete. The boring frozen fries thrown on a tray were served luke warm. The wings were below average. Moreover, they got our order wrong (no jalapenos!) and they were "out" of sour cream. "Oh, sorry!" How do you say, "Going out of business?" It's too bad, the university neighbourhood deserved one good ol' pub experience among all the diversity offerings. This place would be a real gem if management stepped up! A shame.

Extremely slow service. I just wanted a pint or two while watching a hockey game and both times I've been here Ive had to approach the bar myself after being seated with no acknowledgment for 5-10 min...even then you'd think it would be a little faster to get a beer... but not the case. Also you would make a lot more money if you put your customers first and take initiative to ask if we want a refill when the glass gets low rather than socialize with each other or whatever it is you're doing at the bar together 😬. I would have had time for another had i been taken care of properly. Not trying to be a jerk, I sincerley just want to enjoy a beer or two and not have to miss the game chasing you down.
