147 Ristorante

We ate at 147 last night for New Year’s Eve, and it was incredible! The vibe was classy but lively, perfect for the occasion. The staff was so friendly and on top of everything, it felt like they genuinely cared about making the night special! The manager Marta and kitchen manager came to our table ensuring everything was up to par. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish was packed with flavor and looked stunning. 10/10 recommend the eggplant Parmesan! We couldn’t have picked a better place to kick off the new year!

My first time here, and I'm so impressed! While the restaurant was busy and apparently a little under staffed, our server was super attentive and made sure we were comfortable and well hydrated while we waited for our food to come out. The dishes were amazing, generous portions and super tasty. I will be back!

Just incredible. The service was outstanding, thanks to Tony and all of the other staff! The ambiance was incredible, and most importantly, the food was beyond our expectations. What a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Barrie. Looking forward to returning and bringing others!

It was my first time at 147, and the experience was great overall. Service is amazing. Best I've had in recent memory. Our server, Tony, was attentive, but not too attentive, so it was just right. He even caught on to the hint when I mentioned that it was my wife's birthday, and he brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle without me asking. Seriously, great situational awareness. The food is fantastic. I ordered the chicken parmesean, and my wife had the chicken marsala. Both meals are flavourful, delicious, and filling. The portion size is huge, and the price is very reasonable. The only constructive thing I have to say is that the music is way too loud. There's really no need to have loud music in a place like this. I will eat here again.

The restaurant atmosphere had a dark and moody vibe. Saturday night was a busy evening luckily we booked a reservation. Our server was on point, super friendly and had a great sense of humour. The food took a while to come out, yet again we were a big group and the restaurant was busy. Everyone was pleased with their meal and the portions are very generous. We were given limoncello and grappa shots at the end of our meal. I would happy to return.

I’ve been meaning to check out 147 in the heart of downtown Barrie for quite some time now. It pains me to know that I’ve been missing out on this incredible establishment for all this time but better late than never. My party had a phenomenal experience here as we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the moment we sat down in our chairs. The staff can be incredibly hospitable and friendly , they were very informative and patient when it comes to explaining their menu and offering suggestions. It can be a hard choice when you want two of everything on the menu. I went with the spaghetti pescatore white and it was an excellent choice . The portion was surprisingly big when I was expecting something a little more compact. I barely had enough room for dessert but I wasn’t going to pass up on a house made pistachio tiramisu . Everything was fantastic and left me with quite the impression. I’m hoping to be back soon and often. Highly recommended and so far, for me anyway, I can say this is the best Italian restaurant in Barrie

We had our legal ceremony at 147 Dunlop, and it was simply PHENOMENAL. 🌟 I couldn’t recommend this place more. They have a private event space next door, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions we made. We held our ceremony on their balcony and had the reception inside the restaurant. The day before, we brought our decorations, and Marta, with all her kindness, set the table in a way more beautiful than I could have imagined. She also assisted us throughout the ceremony, managing the music, air conditioning, and during lunch, checking in to see if we wanted more appetizers or when to serve the main course. I can’t even talk about the food without already wanting to go back. The food is amazing, and be prepared to eat well because the portions are generous. In short, we were extremely satisfied with Marta’s service, the entire team, and the food. I recommend it without hesitation. Specially if you are looking for the perfect spot for your private events. This place is a package deal.

We had a celebration there with 11 people. We had the private room at the back of the restaurant and It is a Beautiful place, the food is amazing. The owner does everything she can to accommodate you. The staff is all really great and treats you well. All the dishes were delicious, especially the seafood pasta 🤤🤤🤤 the wine was cold and crisp. Espresso martini was delightful. This is coming from a table full of Sicilians 😉 We will be back!!!
