Value for money and the portion is super large. We recommend the baked dishes, rice in casserole and their special - German Pork Knuckle

I was craving for stir-fried beef flat noodles(Ho fun, 乾炒牛河) so I went to this cafe because I was in the area. Unfortunately, they don't serve this dish, so the server suggested black pepper beef stir-fried spaghetti and I agreed. When the food came, the colour looked much lighter than what I usually get from other HK style cafes (The picture looked better because of my phone). The beef tasted like it was boiled before being stir-fried tasting thin and dry, and the spaghetti was overcooked. I didn't want to believe it, but it felt the dish's ingredients were from unused cooked breakfast food(since I ordered my food shortly after breakfast). On top of that, I could also taste the tiny pieces of burnt charcoal from the wok as if they did not rinse it before preparing my dish. It also seemed like there was extra salt and pepper added, as if the chef was trying to cover up the burnt debris or the bland boiled beef. The overall experience was very disappointing, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

A charming local Hong Kong café, offering excellent service and delicious food. The portions are generous, making it a great value overall.

We came here on a Sunday to have lunch. It was our first time eating here and we were very impressed with the food options and very enjoyed the food. I ordered the chicken steak with black pepper sauce, we also ordered beef brisket and spaghetti bolognese. Sitting inside is up to 30 people and staff and service is very good. Pricing per dish averages $14/person. Glad to find a "canteen"/HK style restaurant in Markham that food quality is good for our liking. We will come back again soon

HK Café that offers decent food at a relatively cheap price. Most HK cafés charge $15–20 a meal. This place reminds me of how much a meal cost two decades ago. Their black pepper chicken steak is juicy, and the sauce is flavorful. The spiciness of the sauce had a good kick, making the dish more appetizing. Curry beef was all right. The curry flavour was a bit overwhelming. The curry itself was not spicy, and the quality of the beef wasn't that great. The cart noodles were decent; I can't complain about the price though.

Unbeatable price and taste! Classical HK cafe, not big inside but very clean and cozy. Plenty parking. Great customer service. The server is very attentive and nice. First time visited this cafe, we ordered their signature curry beef brisket with rice and chicken fillet on black pepper sauce with rice. Their curry has pineapple and bamboo shoots, they tasted really good. Both lunch combos come with a soup and a drink, must try ! Highly recommend!

Pretty nice little place for a quick meal. They have afternoon tea with a deep fried chicken leg with mango salad that's really good. Update May 2024 - Afternoon tea is from 2-5pm. Dinner is also b pretty good.

I had lunch with my colleague on Friday, around 12:30. Most of the dining tables are occupied, but we don't need to wait to be seated. Prices are very reasonable. You can find a lot of lower than $10 items from the menu, and those are regular meals, not only snacks or appetizers. I ordered noodles with 4 toppings (only $13, while other restaurants may charge at least 18-20). My colleague ordered porkchops rice. Serving is not slow. The kitchen staff forgot one topping (beef with radish) for my noodle. The waitress was pleased to give me a bowl of beef in half minute, which is good. The noodles tasted okay, not impressively tasty, but I still enjoyed it considering the good portion and the low price. My colleague doesn't really like his porkchops as they are obviously overcooked and burned to black on one side, and he thinks the milk tea is too watery. I will recommend this restaurant for a quick meal with an 'anti-inflation' price. I am also interested in their breakfast menu and will give it a try sometime in the near future.
