Zunyan Fine Dining & Banquet 樽宴大酒楼

This dim sum restaurant has been here for a long time. It is located close to Pacific Mall and a bunch of other eateries along Silver Star Boulevard. They have a pre-11 am dim sum deal for S/M/L dishes for $5. Prices are reasonable and dim sum is served hot in large portions. Seating is comfortable and not too cramped. I would recommend trying them out.

My wife and I had our wedding year. It is a beautiful, fine dining Chinese banquet. Our wedding was one for the books. Everyone talked about how delicious the food was, how great the service was and how beautiful the place was. Martin, one of the managers was extremely helpful when it came to the wedding planning and he went above and beyond to help us with any concerns and answer questions. It was also right within our budget and we had 150 guests!! If you’re looking to ball on a budget, this is your spot!

We came here for my grandma's birthday dinner, and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant's service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff making us feel welcome. The seafood dishes were delicious, with the freshness of the seafood standing out in every bite. It was the perfect place to celebrate her special day.

We ordered the Peking Duck and Lobster set ($188). The amount of food was more than enough for the 4 of us and was just right when we had it with 6 people. We enjoyed the variety of meat this set has to offer (fish, lobster, duck,llama & lamb). All the dishes were delicious, their quality is always consistent and their set menu items offer great value.

People come here for the amount of dim sum for the money, the dim sum was ok enough, nothing special or refined but they sure are large portions. The shrimp dumplings are 50% larger than most other places but the skin was too thick and the filling were bland. The beef rice roll skin was too thick and the soya sauce wasn’t seasoned so it was just wrong. For good cheap eat this place is perfect, for us we rather get better food and pay a little more.

Food here was decent. I heard of this place through word of mouth. Very spacious and lots of seating inside. You can get authentic dim sum here and it's overall pretty good. Lots of dim sum options to choose from the menu and it's in both English and Chinese. The shrimp balls are to die for and are perfectly deep fried and paired well with the traditional red vinegar dipping sauce. Long line up to get a seating but since they have lots of seating area inside, the wait time was not too bad for small groups. Given the space, I would say they are slightly understaffed with waiters/waitresses attending the tables but it didn't affect my overall experience as I was not in a rush. They serve dim sum in the morning and have other dinner options in the evening including packaged dinner meals. Will definitely come back to try dinner.
