Such good food and such an amazingly nice owner!!! Insanely affordable price and the taste was out of this world. Highly recommend to try at least once

The best places I’ve ever been. The owner is the most welcoming person I’ve met. We told him to just bring out the best and he came with the most delicious food including fava beans, hummus, falafel (the best falafel I’ve ever had). The vibe here is too good I recommend this place to anyone wanting a good meal and experience.

This restaurant takes you on a trip to Sudan. You feel the warmth of hospitality and taste the authenticity of the food. We had Fatta, Falafel, Faseekh and Kibdah all were perfect, I loved their tamiya (falafel) a lot. Keep it up guys and thank you for the great experience

We discovered Zoal by accident back in December 2020 when they opened. And ever since they've been our go to place for Sudanese food. My first time ever trying Sudanese food was from them and I had the agashi platter, and I loved it! Since then we ordered take out from them 3 times for parties of 10+ and they did not disappoint (agashi, salad aswad(my favvv!!), beets salad, mulah tagaliyya with asida, dam3a jadad with gurasa, shayya, drinks aradeed & helow morr, desserts). The communication, food quality and quantity are all top notch. They even gave us free bakhoor once when we asked! Since restaurants opened we dined in once and the experience is consistent. We usually trek there all the way from DT, that's how much we love Zoal. It's exciting to find a Sudanese restaurant with such professionalism and quality, please continue doing what you do!

Was our first visit to Zoal restaurant, and it won't be the last for sure. Zoal serves authentic Sudanese food that feels like homemade food. Tasty and indulging, while you are there don't skip the Agashi dish, and don't leave without trying their Baklava, the best in town honestly. The owner was welcoming and hospitable, and our overall experience was second to none. Thank you guys, and keep it up.

Note: I have not previously tried Agashi or any other Sudanese food before. Hence, I'm not sure what it's supposed to taste like. I ordered the Chicken Agashi delivered via Ubereats. I was happy to see a lot of meat present, along with some dips and rice. The dips and rice were delicious. However, I didn't like the Agashi - the chicken had way too much coating, and the Agashi tasted like raw uncooked spices with a tiny hint of peanuts. I couldn't taste the chicken, as the coating overpowered it. Maybe that's what this dish is supposed to taste like, but I didn't like it.

Samir and the team are very kind and prepare fresh and delicious Sudanese food! It was our first time trying and we ordered the chicken agashe meal with rice and sauce, foul fatta and tabaldi (baobab) juice. All were very well made! As likely the only Sudanese restaurant in the GTA, highly recommend people visit and give it a try :) we felt at home and will definitely be going back.

First time visiting the restaurant to pick up Sudanese food. We were not disappointed at all as the food and drinks they have are really delicious. The mullah and agashe are top notch. The dom juice was very VERY good. Many thanks to Adel Rahman and Reham for great customer service. Will definitely return again. Keep up the good work!
