My favourite part of their food is their tomato sauce. It has such a great balance of flavours and it complemented the appetizers so well as well as the pasta. The food was great and flavourful. The food was however a bit warm instead of hot but I think it's because they wanted to serve both plates at the same time so one cooled down a bit. The portions on the other hand are so big. For around 10$, the portions are as big as some full meals from other restaurants. The main courses are also only around 25$ and they were quite generous in the toppings as well. The service was decent. The waitress was friendly and had a positive attitude which was cheerful for such a cold night. The place was pretty quiet and a bit cold but it was cosy with the wall of family photos and the decorations.

My husband and I found this place last night on a restaurant near me on goggle and we're happy we did.... The pizza is the best I have ever had and the salad was super fresh! His veal sandwich was cooked 👌 perfectly The owner is friendly and the place is well decorated and clean! We will definitely be going back every time we are in barrie!

If I could afford to eat out every day, it would be Zio’s! I live every item on their menu so much I have the hardest time choosing! Staff and owner and so kind and the food is amazing. Tender meat, amazing pasta and the sandwiches are amazing.

Food is absolutely phenomenal and our waitress was extremely nice. Heavy old school Italian vibes, with the music and decor. The veal sandwich is to die for!

We hosted our team staff party where the menu was selected beforehand. Gian Carlo was able to accommodate our group two weeks in advance, and that night, his staff did an amazing job! The Cesar salad and pasta in Alfredo Sauce was absolutely delicious. Thank you, Gian Carlo and staff, for making that evening a memorable one. You made new clients within our party. We will be back!😋😋

The food is other-worldly! I love the home-style cooking, the huge portions, and most of all, the delicious food! Do yourself a favour and have dinner here, it'll be your "go to" Italian place in Barrie!

Nice ambiance, love the wall with the personal (I assume) family photos. Some old ones and new ones from what it appears as the family grows. Soft Italian music playing, just enough to enjoy but not overwhelming. The garden salad was nice. I had the veal & pasta. The veal was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend it. If you are ever in the area, you really should check them out.

Comfort delicious food 😋 Their bruschetta is not your typical, its quite cheesy and delicious! So good! Their meatball spaghetti was tasty as well. Service was very courteous and friendly. Please, support local family owned businesses, nobody wants just McDonald's around.
