My partner and I had dinner here in November one Saturday early evening. There were no crowds and the overall ambience was peaceful. We ordered The Frohman to share, a plateful of poutine, and coffee. The last item came in a huge mug so it was enough for us both. The sandwich came with a coleslaw that was delicious! We could tell it wasn’t made with mayonnaise. Their spicy mustard was a delightful addition to the meal.

Being from NYC I am always on the hunt for a good deli. Found it here. Unpretentious, small and with a fantastic history of delicious dishes. It has everything on the menu and a wonderful outdoor patio.

Great food at a good price served by friendly people Got the smoked meat sandwich - the bread was fresh and soft....on a Sunday. The meat was just the right amount of fat The Cole slaw was a good balance of crunchy and vinegar. & The house spicy mustard was a nice kick. I'd call it Toronto mild spicy. I'm not feeling it 20 minutes later. Since my local deli closed, I've been looking for a good one on the subway line. Found it. Good food at a good price with attentive staff Highly recommended.

The best of the good ol’ Toronto! Food is great! And what is better than supporting your local shops! The brunch is of excellent quality and value. The smoke meat sandwich with their homemade hot mustard is a winner.

Nice deli and the French toast is one of the best. The dishes are served with fresh fruits and it’s kind of all day breakfast type in Israel style.

Nice Montreal deli with great desserts. Service: friendly waiter, knows the menu well...saw him both times when we went back. Filled with regulars who frequent for breakfast or want a bagel. Also sells some hard to find snacks such as OMG, Vernor's ginger ale, and Doc Brown's soda. Went here to try latkes but they weren't the best menu item; latkes were soft, outside and inside made with sweet white potatoes? Not the usual spice. Wish they were crispier. Breakfast was tasty, had french toast, which was made from challah toast, which was very soft, sweet and went well with strawberries and cream. For sure a repeat order next time. Omelette is standard, Israeli salad was missing tomatoes as it was too expensive. Israeli salad tasted like sweet dill pickles with the dill, sugar and vinegar. My food mate says the Montreal smoked meat was good, but not as good as Montreal's Reuben's. Bagels are super soft, preferred over Montreal type harder wood fired bagels. Second trip was for late dinner and dessert. Egg salad was good, not salty, but might need some salt for some. Fries were well spiced, home made with skin on, best eaten when hot. Carrot cake is super moist, the best I've tried in Toronto. Coconut cream pie and cheesecake are good but the crust isn't graham...a little soggy. Nutella milkshake was tasty. Prices: Breakfast $14-20 per plate; desserts $12 per piece; shakes $7-8; sodas $3. Overall: Good breakfast, deli and dessert. Will return, just not for latkes.

Definitely, one of the best spots to have breakfast in Toronto! Just L O V E D the food and the service. I’m that their pancakes and maple syrup taste like a unicorn. Big portions, fair prices, and great food! Nothing here is wrong, just go!

This is one of the those spots where you really can’t make a wrong decision. The service was fantastic and friendly. The food was great and fresh. HIGHLY recommend the onion rings as they stole show for me. Bbq beef sandwich was messy but delicious. Mac and cheese with deli meat was also great. Ask for some of the mustard with honey and jalapeños
