Zara's on wheels is a new restaurant in Oakville opened more than 6 months ago.
The name Zara is the restaurant’s name which has been in the area for the last 14 years The menu is traditionally Mediterranean and infused with the flavors of the Middle East Particularly Lebanon in addition to some greek. Chef Mel and his wife Zara invite you to enjoy authentic home-style cooking. Each dish is meticulously created to order from freshly prepared ingredients: no precooked, meals are inspired by traditional Mediterranean style and are, therefore, naturally low sodium, but high in flavor! The logo represents an olive leaf which symbolizes freshness and healthy Mediterranean food.

Our family have been loyal fans of Zara's on Wheels since it started. Meals are always fresh, delicious and hot. Mel is a terrific chef and very friendly! He treated us to cups of wonderful lentil soup while we waited briefly for our orders. He compassionately supports the community (feeding 200 Boy Scouts for Remembrance Day at his own expense as an example). Zara's is our favourite takeout. Thank you very much, Mel!

The BEST Shawarma in town!! The owner truly takes pride in his food and you really can taste it! Ive ordered many times and the quality is always the same if not better. He goes ABOVE AND BEYOND in his customer service! I feel like I'm talking with family, Thank you Zara's on Wheels! A true staple of the Bronte community! A MUST TRY!

I can’t say enough positive things about Mel and his business! I highly recommend ordering the chicken shawarma pita and Greek salad. His food is fresh and affordable. Mel is also incredibly kind and personable! I am very happy to support Zara’s! I would highly recommend ordering from here!

One of my favourite spots in Bronte. Delicious and fresh dishes always and the portions are huge with many options to choose from on the menu. Mel is so kind and friendly too! We will be back soon!

Our go-to Mediterranean food in Oakville. It is in our neighborhood (Bronte) in a food truck situated at the Bronte Legion. There is something for everyone in the family, although my husband and I prefer the pineapple chicken on rice with a Greek salad. If we are really hungry, we may also order Hummus and pita. Food is generously portioned, healthy and always delicious, at a reasonable price point. Mel, the owner is invariably friendly, with a smile on his face. I am so happy that Zara's on Wheels is part of Bronte!

It's a pleasure to visit Zara's on Wheels. Mel is friendly and polite. His food is always delicious and he goes out of his way to make sure that feel welcome. My favorite is chicken pineapple pita and Mel always provides more than enough to eat. We are very lucky to have Zara's on Wheels here in Bronte.

Love this food truck in Bronte! You can order on the spot or call ahead to enjoy fresh, delicious, Mediterranean cuisine. Portions are huge and there is something for everyone. It’s a surprisingly full menu for a food truck and the owner is super friendly and kind. He always remembers our orders and really enjoys feeding people. The truck is a local fixture in the area and we go often to pick up, and walk to the Lake to eat. Lots of parking. Sometimes there’s live music there too. We had a starter and two full meals for $38.

Owner was a delight and offered a better option to waiting in my car for my order! Sat outside at the Legion and had a quick beer while waiting. Not a long wait for the food but was totally worth the wait! Everything was delicious and family loved it! Will definitely be a regular stop!
