Quick lunch at 70 King! Would 1000% recommend running in for some Zapiekanka and a Tymbark. Quick service, delicious food, and a great price! Much love, Dzięki!

Incredible polish street food. They're really generous with the portions and are very reasonably priced. The owner is also very kind and funny; we loved talking to her. Highly recommend visiting and trying the Classic or Hungry Polak as they're the most traditional. I'll definitely be back to try the others too.

I wanted to try something different so I asked for their sandwich and asked them to make it how they would enjoy it. It was not a good balance of flavours in my opinion as it was mustard and ketchup and even though the sandwich was large I didn’t feel like it was something I’d ever go back for. The bread was nice and fresh and was probably the best thing however the cutlet was disappointing as it was not fresh at all felt like it was warmed up in the microwave. I wanted to enjoy this experience but couldn’t 3/5 ⭐️

Today my wife and I ate lunch at Zaps Polish Street Food in the food court at 70 King St E, Oshawa. Very trendy food hall layout with various selections of fusion food eating establishments and authentic foreign food choices. We settled on Zaps and ordered the schnitzel on a baguette and sweet pancakes. When we opened the breaded schnitzel we noticed it was over-done to the point of almost burnt but I decided to try it anyway as the baguette and pork looked crispy. The experience was less than poor as the pork was dried out. I regret not saying anything to the store clerk at the time but as so often happens when complaining to very small businesses nothing is done about it. But for the owners sake of hearing customer feedback I decided to write this review. My apology for not bringing this to the store clerks attention but I am instead writing this review as I feel whoever cooked this must have known it was over-done but decided to serve it anyway. I realize this was supposed to be enjoyed “crispy” but it was past that. I’m hoping the owners will read this and take it as a constructive critique. However the sweet pancakes were phenomenal. Not sure if I would return but this may just be a ‘one off’ oversight by the cook.

Passed by this place a few times and finally decided to give it a shot and let me tell you, thank goodness I did the food was absolutely delicious and each bite had a depth of flavour that had me wanting more, I dare say this place was so good, I had to write a review while eating my food. 11/10 in my books!! (I ordered camping at zaps)

It's tucked in the back of the food hall, and we were very happy to find it. I ordered the Angry Polak and found it tasty. I loved the fresh bread -- crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It just needed to be a little more "angry." The Schnitzel on a bun was good, but we mistakenly ordered it with ketchup and mustard (recommended by the staff). It was SMOTHERED with ketchup and mustard... It would have tasted 100x better with the garlic sauce or the dill sauce. We ordered the Polish Raspberry soda and mint apple soda. Both were extremely refreshing and complimented the food. If you're in the food hall, definitely check it out. There's lots of really cool menu options to choose from. I'll be back again to try something new.

UPDATE (reply): Thank you to the boss and the staff. I came back to ZAPS to try the dill pickle soup again as I was promised one for free after having a bad experience the first time. This time the soup was significantly better! Exactly the way it should be! A lot of pickles, not too many potatoes, great sour pickle flavour. I also got extra garlic bread which I'm very grateful for. I can see that the boss cares about their customers and the food. __________________________ ZASP Polish Street Food, unfortunately, was a disappointment. I got a regular sized Dill Pickle Soup and it was more like a potato soup with pickle flavour. There was barely any pickles in it and mostly just very sad, pale potaotes. Wouldn't recommend that meal here unfortunately. I'm saying this as a Polish person who genuinely loves dill pickel soup (ogórkowa) and have had it many many times. I haven't tried anything else at ZAPS yet so I may come back and change my review but for now it's only 3 stars from me.

Absolutely amazing. The Sauerkraut on my Schnitzel was so fresh and really took my sandwich to the next level! This was an amazing surprise!
