Feela like authentic Japanese izakaya with Japanese staff. Had their premium skewers, mentai carbonara, yakisoba along with their The 94 sake and fukuoka junmai. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The sake complimented everything. Will come again.

Made me feel like I was back home in Japan! Very wonderful staff and atmosphere. Music choice for the restaurant is very good. Food is also very tasty although a little on the pricey side! I would visit again. Thank you 👍

Huge menu of different dishes and skewers so everyone can get what they like. Wasn’t a fan of the takowasa since the octopus had a rubbery texture but there was a good amount of wasabi flavour. Notable dishes included: garlic beef and mentai carbonara udon. Surprisingly, the most delicious part of the meal was the honey satsuma. The fact that it came with a slab of butter made an amazing combination with the fries and honey. Highly recommend.

The menu offers a variety of grilled options, with skewers categorized by type of meat. There are also two platters that let you try different skewers, each with six skewers featuring a mix of different meats. We particularly enjoyed the pork and chicken, but the beef wasn’t great. Overall, we were happy with the taste and quality of the food. However, the service needs improvement. We ordered three plates, but they didn’t bring our food together. There was a 5-10 minute gap between each plate, so my friend had already eaten half of his food by the time my plate arrived. Additionally, the food wasn’t hot; it would have been nice if it had been served hot. The young man serving us had some difficulty understanding our order, so the communication could have been better. The decor and vibe replicate Japanese culture, which is interesting. There’s a good selection of cocktails and Asian alcoholic drinks, though we didn’t try any. The washrooms are small but clean, and mouthwash is provided, which is a nice touch. And just a heads up that the food portion is not too big,m; you may want to order multiple items.

Was craving authentic Japanese food and found this restaurant nearby. What a gem this spot is. We sat at the bar and ordered a few meats, a natto and sashimi dish, cucumbers, yaki onigiri, and the chicken meatball soup! The vibes were super cool and chill, the service was amazing and top notch! So glad we came here and may come back before our trip is over. I definitely recommend - everything is super fresh and delicious. Ah and don’t forget the beer on draft.

If you are looking for a casual late night weekend dinner spot with great food and service then definitely check out this place. We opted for counter seating to see the yakitori being made in front of us. Very friendly staff and lots of variety in the yakitori. We left feeling happy and would definitely come again.

I had the most wonderful experience here. The service is so friendly and nice! Our server really enhanced our experience and even allowed us to sample umeshu before purchasing. Our food was delicious and seasoned very well. I enjoyed the menu and the portions. The alcohol selection was great and worth the money too. Such a fun and pleasant atmosphere!!

One of the best place in Toronto to enjoy the true Japanese flavor Yakitori. All the staffs are very friendly and attention to details are there. Overall, top notch service and food quality. Would recommend to anyone who knows and misses the sensation you get from eating it in Japan.
