Zaitoun

I placed an order for ride and kabob and the portion sizes were almost half of the container size. I am extremely disappointed! Please have the decency to provide reasonable portion sizes

One of my friends told me about this place serving good cheese steaks and bbq ribs for some great prices, so the first thing we do on a weekend is to go here. The Philly cheesesteak and ribs were decided, but to make sure no one left hungry we thought to go with the fried chicken. The cheesesteak didn’t disappoint taste wise, a little more cheese wouldn’t hurt but full points to it. The ribs was really good, tender and perfectly done. The mildly sweet and tangy bbq sauce made it better. For the third dish, I have had better fried chicken, so this wasn’t like a wow thing, but did the job of keeping us full. Definitely going again for the sandwich and will try more on the menu

The food was tasty but a rather small portion for what I paid. The gentlemen at the counter were very polite and kind; it took half an hour to prepare it but they were upfront about the fact it would take that long. The restaurant should hire more hands.

Tasty food overall, but the broasted chicken was very oily. The fries were excellent, and the chicken was well-marinated with a great taste. The ambience was fantastic, but the prices were on the higher side.

Our first time visiting Zaitoun, recommended by a friend. We ordered their broast chicken, steak sandwich and poutine. Our favourite item from what we tried was definitely the chicken. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. He took pride in cooking the food. The garlic sauce was also delicious :)

We came to Zaitoun on a fine Sunday afternoon. We went for the Steak Sandwich and the Beef Shami Kabab Plate. The Steak was cooked to perfection and the mushrooms complimented it extremely well. I loved the taste and the sandwich was very filling. The beef plate was great in its own way. I heavily recommend this place and all the meat being Halal was an easy choice.

We are regulars here! Love this place and are addicted to their spicy steak fries, which come in a generous portion. Very friendly service, we’ve tried other items in our many visits; tandoori chicken with salad (very good), waziri plate (very good), fried chicken (super good) and their ribs, both chipotle and BBQ (satisfactory). There is lots of parking available and for a size of this restaurant, decent seating as well. Can’t wait to go back again, thanks!

The food was very good. (8/10) Service was pretty good as well.(8/10) The pricing is not cheap, but not very expensive either. I think the prices are justifiable. (7/10) My only complaint about this place is that the finish on the tables was very sticky. They have nice wooden table tops but the wood finish is either not the right kind or they are using the wrong cleaning products on those tables (incompatible with the wood finish), making them sticky. Our clother, disposable plates, etc were all sticking to the table.
