EXCELLENT. I recommend coming with an empty stomach. I'm not sure how or why this isn't better rated. I've visited michelín-star restaurants, and this is either a hidden gem or worthy of such an award. Maybe because their desserts are good, but not awesome? Food is delicious, service is great. Even if the decoration may feel a bit simpler than some upscale restaurants I've visited, I'd say the experience is worth every cent.

Came here today for dinner with my family for a birthday. Great service and food came in a timely matter even though we were a larger group. Calamari was great and everyone loved the pasta they ordered here. My family and I will be back.

Today, we went to Zafferano for my father in laws birthday. We had dinner, with 7 adults and 2 toddlers. Everything was great. The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was yummy! If you're eating as an Italian, the cost per person can easily be $40-$50. If not more. But it was worth it. We will definitely come back!

I’ve been to this place years ago and finally returned after a while, and I was not disappointed. The food was great and every dish we had was full of flavor. The menu is curated as Modern Italian, so it was nice to have an Italian/Spanish fusion menu aside from your traditional Italian dishes. Highly recommend the Shishito peppers, shrimp and mussel appetizers. Drinks were also great. The raspberry Moscow mule was outstanding.

The food here is great. The portions are filling, food is fresh and delicious. Their house red was good too. They have a nice private area for events if required. Overall, great vibe, service, and food. Thanks Mike

A perfect intimate venue for your special party. The service was exceptionally good for a party of 60 or so. The wait staff continuously attended to our food and beverage requests. The cocktails and drinks were on point. The antipasto bar was well presented, varied and delicious. Highlight was the perfectly cooked signature fried calamari and accompanying dip. The gnocchi in rose sauce was served hot. The fresh tender pasta was enveloped with a sumptuous sauce. The Frenched Veal Chop was cooked to medium for all guests. It was flavourful and tender. I typically prefer my steaks medium rare but given the quality of this cut of meat, I had no issues eating it. The venue, meal and staff were a delight.

We just celebrated our sons 1st birthday with family and it was everything we hoped for and more. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, very clean and the private room (which we used) that was perfect. Mike and his staff (Giorgio, Leo, Dinardo and others as well) all did an incredible job answering to our guests requests and performing a wonderful service the entire evening. The food was and always is amazing!! Everything from the antipasto to the main and the entree was delicious and presented very eloquently. The biggest compliment was when all our guests messaged and called us in the days following to let us know just how much they loved the food and can't wait to go back. To Mike and everyone at Zafferano thank you for making this a wonderful and memorable day for our family. We can't wait to come back for more beautiful meals and many more beautiful celebrations.
