Zabardast Hyderabadi Biryani

“I recently ordered biryani and it was absolutely amazing! The aroma, flavor, and spices were perfectly balanced, making every bite a delight. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the rice was cooked to perfection. Even though it’s a takeout-only spot, the packaging was great, keeping the food warm and fresh. This is easily one of the best biryanis I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, delicious biryani!”

I recently ordered Veg Kofta Biriyani from this restaurant and was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered the kofta biriyani, and it was too salty. It completely overpower the salty(extra salty) taste over the other flavors and made it difficult to enjoy the dish. Additionally, the yogurt served alongside was a letdown as well. It had a watery consistency that detracted from the overall meal. A good yogurt should be thick and creamy, providing a nice balance to the spices in the biriyani, but this was far from that. Even I had to make my own yoghurt with this dish. Overall, I expected much more from this restaurant, and unfortunately, I left feeling unsatisfied. This was my first time trying this restaurant. I hope they can improve on these aspects in the future.

We ordered food for our son’s birthday for 60 people, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, of great quality, and there was plenty of it—all at a very affordable price. Everyone at the party was impressed with how tasty everything was. I worked with Gopi for the menu planning, and he was incredibly helpful, suggesting a variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The customer service and support were excellent throughout the entire process. Highly recommend!

The biryani was flavourful, but it felt like rice could've been much more thinner. We ordered paneer 65 biryani, and no doubt was really good. The paneer was soft, and gravy was flavourful, but proportion was not right. Rice was less than the gravy, and there was still gravy left even after we finished the biryani. Otherwise, you'll only get raita on side and no salan.

I ordered both Chicken and Mutton Biryani, Hyderabadi style, from this place. The portions were generous, and the food arrived fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The staff here are welcoming and courteous, which added to the pleasant experience. What’s even better is that they stay open late, making them a go-to spot for those late-night cravings. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again. Highly recommend!

I ordered the chicken ghee roast Biryani and I got the chicken 65 when I open the box. Although the rice is good, wrong is sad. And I have to wait for the order after the promised time.

Ever since Iqbal on Thorncliff has been ripped out to make room for Metrolinx, I've been on the hunt for authentic tasting Hyderabadi Biryani. I was not disappointed when I ordered from Zabardast. The vegetable biryani bucket was absolutely AMAZING. Only real issue I had was with the Naan bread. Naan could have been better. Texture of the Naan was very rubbery. Butter chicken sauce was a bit sweet but It tasted fine the next following day. I will be ordering again.
