Paid $23 for a plate and small bowl of soup. Soup was ok, the plate did not have no homous, no garlic, no salad, beef was dry and cold rice was mushy and tasted weird! Worst shawarma I’ve had probably in my whole life! I wouldn’t recommend this trash to anyone else.

I was super hungry. I ordered a beef shawarma poutine platter. I repeated it two times to the gentleman taking my order. And yet I didn’t even get what I ordered. And I’m too hungry to go back and complain. But this isn’t right. And I even left a 15% tip on a to go order. Zaad - DO BETTER.

The portion size has really changed. I have been a long time customer at the Spadina location. It was good to see a second location open by Broadview Station. The platters are now in different containers rather than the tin foil containers. The rice was a little stale and the salad/greens are just wilted and borderline rotting. The veggies on the platter was just trimmings of cabbage. It has became discoloured from just sitting there. The meat was also just sitting on the black top drying out. The garlic sauce is separating and it looks disgusting on my plate. Staff is still very nice and welcoming when staff come in. Just the food is terrible. I would like to try the Spadina location again to see if there is a difference in food quality because this location isn’t it.

Amazing food and service! Guys are really nice & personable. Love the music choice. It's really clean. Our server was Motasem(sp). Very sweet guy. He cooks with such flair! We enjoyed watching him! Dessert was yummy!

I had super high hopes for this place based on previous reviews but it was so bad. My boyfriend ordered from here on for delivery (we got the lamb and beef shawarma platter) and when we got it, our order was wrong. We had ordered extra meat and rice, we did not get any extra meat and as well no rice, we were given salad instead which had rotten lettuce. The meat itself was unbelievably dry. I was shocked at it frankly It was such an unpleasant experience, we definitely will not order again.

my friend and I were in the area and spontaneously decided to give this place a try - absolutely no regrets! We tried the chicken saj, and it was so incredibly delicious - the ingredients were fresh, meat was so juicy and tender, and overall, it was quite filling. but the highlight was most definitely the customer service - the man helping us, motasem, was so so incredibly kind, with a constant smile on his face. great food, great prices, even better customer service! Can't wait to re-visit! :)

Looking for friendly staff and amazing food, this is the place to do it! Had nothing but laughs and enjoyed every bite of food, having to take some of it home as you get so much of it. Definitely order the hummus as it is soooooooo good I could eat it all day every day! Definitely coming back more this summer as this is a go to spot.
