Was pleasantly surprised by the food here. The burrito bowl was great, all the sauces and salsas tasted amazing! One of the better burrito spots in the GTA, wish their were more locations. The chicken here is also halal! Check it out.

Loved ZTeca, I used to eat at the one downtown after work and I liked how their portions were much more than Chipotle so I always go to Zteca. I ordered delivery today and their so called “fully loaded chicken bowl” has barely any chicken, and the cuts? Might as well serve ground chicken for your bowls then. Please do better.

Extremely overpriced for what it is. The worker does the opposite of what I ask for (ex I asked for sour cream on the side, they put it into the bowl). I’ll let the picture speak for myself. I should’ve known better when there was not a single customer inside the store..

The 1st time I was at this place, I was ordering in person for the take out, and it was amazing, I fell in love with this place, veggie crumble burrito was on point! So I was trying to come back again, though I live in further away. And today (Saturday, April 10th, 2024) after long day of work on my way home, I pre ordered 3 burritos over the phone, 30 min before the closing. When I tried it in the car, it was barely warm, not proportionate at all (the first 1/3rd of burrito was pure rice , then it was pure veggie crumble) and I just stopped eating it. Same thing was in other burritos. I understand that it was half an hour before the closing, but I believe the quality of the food should not suffer that drastically, as I’ve paid $46 for 3 of those inedible burritos. It is really unfortunate, that this location just became my favourite burrito place, and on the 2nd visit it became the worst. One extra star is for those amazing girls who were making my first burrito! Update: My partner tried to finish them, and one burrito was pure rice! I will attach photos with it. The second was mostly rice. Plus, I ordered 2 burritos with extra guac for $2.50 each, and there was none!

As a big fan of Mexican food, I found the tortilla soup here to be excellent. The texture and the moderate level of spiciness, along with the traditional chips and coriander, really put the cherry on top. Today, Toronto was hit by heavy snow and it was quite cold, but this mildly spicy soup helped warm me up. I’ll definitely go for the soup again next time and opt for the large size. I also tried their burrito, which is above average for the city. I had a great dinner!

I've never heard of this Mexican restaurant chain, but I'm glad I found it. Simple concept, tasty food, fresh ingredients and nice staff. Everything tasted great, it's clean, I didn't have to wait for anything, there's enough seating. It's great that it's in the middle of midtown, close to subway line 1 and soon to eglinton crosstown (or not) 😄.
