Yunshang Rice Noodle (Mississauga)

This restaurant has a list of great comfort food perfect for a cold winter night. Orders are easily entered from your phone with QR codes, so no need to call for service to order. The dining room is spacious with a lot of tables, and sometimes the restaurant suffers from lack of servers at the front. During busy times, it is difficult for the servers to service all tables. The rice noodles with fermented fish is my personal favourite. It comes boiling hot, and the fish slices are so tender and flavourful. As a bonus, you can get another bowl of noodles free of charge, which makes it a great value. The beef brisket on rice is also a safe bet if you prefer rice dish. The deep fried riblets is a great appetizer to share, and the popcorn chicken is another good alternative. You need to watch the traffic when you want to pay using cards. The restaurant only has one card machine, so there may be a long line of people waiting to pay. Something to think about when you're in a hurry.

***CASH/DEBIT ONLY*** Food is good. Portion sizes are decent. Dining area is clean. Seating is mostly comfortable. Dining in allows you to order extra noodle at no charge. We ordered the braised beef brisket rice and pork intestine and konjac spicy soup noodle. Both were very good. The soup noodle was extra spicy, if you're into that sort of thing. Their 3x chili peppers on the menu are legitimately hot. Throughout the meal, there was a convoy of food delivery personnel that were in and out - they have a table dedicated to pickup. This gets pretty distracting because they all hung out beside our table. You order your food from a web browser menu from your phone, via a QR code at your table. This makes you think the restaurant is technologically advanced, but it is not. You still need to walk up to the counter to pay, wait for the cashier to attend to other paying guests and to your bill (they are busy with delivery drivers) and they ONLY accept cash or debit. You also need to ask for tea refills. There is no service to your table otherwise.

The restaurant is spacious inside, and the seating is not too close together. They were not busy on a weekday mid-afternoon. Their braised pork intestine and duck blood rice noodle was good.

Great soup dishes. Their takeout menu has even more options than their dine in menu. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Great service and decent parking.

Nice and quiet place. Their Sichuan style crispy fried pork rib is a must try! Very good rice noodle soup and a big portion.

Fast friendly service. I asked for less spicy and it was perfect! The soups are flavourful. It did solidify the next day so full of collagen. Both were piping hot when it arrived so be careful not to burn your mouth! Worth a visit if you're craving soup noodles.

I dropped in to try their popular chicken stew dishes with rice 🍚 or hand 🤚 made noodles 🍝. I will recommend that you add extra noodles or rice on the side if you are famished. The braised chicken was tender flavour packed. The signature braised chicken sauce - stew is light and refreshing because there is dish is braised and not deep fried. The service is quick and very friendly. A+ experience for me. Please drop in and try their dishes and then let us all know what your feedback is. Happy eats everyone 😎

My friends and I (group of 9) decided to come to Yunshang for dinner after finishing our escape room beside the Golden Square Plaza. The last time I came here was in June 2022, but the quality of the food is still there! First off, the prices were extremely affordable (typically $12.99 for a bowl) and the preparation time in the kitchen was super fast. Second, the store hours (closing at 11 PM) was greatly appreciated since we had originally planned to go to Fuji Noodle House which closes at 9 PM. Lastly, the unlimited noodle refills was such a good deal as it accommodated for everyone’s portion needs. I am very delighted that 2 of my friends who are non-Chinese thoroughly enjoyed their first time at a Chinese rice noodle restaurant 🤗 The variety in broths and the saltiness was perfect too. Keep up the great work!
