Yunshang Rice Noodle (Downtown Toronto)

If you’re looking for an affordable bowl of warm rice noodle soup - hot pot style - I definitely recommend to eat here! Firstly, the customer service is amazing, the front desk host kindly helped my friend and I the ordering app system and never left our water empty, the servers were also nice. The food came within 5 minutes of ordering, very fast, but the quality of the Original Rice Noodle Soup (about $11.99) was stellar! The bone broth was light but full of flavour from the beef bones, and if it came with a sufficient variety of side dishes to place into the soup (ex: cabbage, fish cake, wood ear mushroom, beef roll etc.). The size of the restaurant is adequate and the vibe was lively when busy, calm when settled. 100% would come again, especially on a cold day.

Went here for a quick dinner and to find shelter from the cold. I ordered the tomato ride noodle soup with beef slices and it was pretty good and perfect for the cold weather in Toronto. The tomato broth was tangy and delicious. Although hard to flag a server, I would come back again.

It is difficult to beat a bubbling pot full of Yunnan style rice noodle (云南米线) on a cold evening. We shook the rain off of our jackets, sat down and ordered ourselves their classic: served with the noodles separately from the broth so we get to customise how soft or firm the bite of the rice noodle will be. Once served, we warmed up straight away. The broth comes piping hot and feels pretty much like having a one-person serving of hot pot. Indeed, there are side dishes that complement the noodles including a selection of meats, vegetables, quail eggs and tofu which require time to cook in the hot broth. Our other order was the rice noodles in lamb broth which had spices and enoki mushrooms. It was a bit on the heavier side in comparison but equally delicious, especially for a cold evening. Their menu had plenty of other interesting dishes, and at fairly reasonable prices this restaurant is in our opinion worth multiple visits.

What a cute place, and everyone was so nice!!! We rolled in later because of our travels, and sure, glad we did! Ordered a couple of different dishes, soooo delicious I'd definitely come back again. The atmosphere is nice, and the place looks clean. It's late. I can't think of writing this review other than we all enjoyed it very much . Thank you ❤️

The rice noodles here are really cheap and the services are really quick. The shop may look intimidating for first time eater, but both time I came to this chain, I had really good experiences.

Great place good food good noodle with kind and thoughtful staff! The bowl is smoking hot! Noodle taste great! Very spicy and when staff saw me sweating due to spicy, he hand me more napkins! So thank you !

I ordered a big portion of food yesterday as there was a promotion on Uber eat. Today I was going to eat the tomato rice noodle soup from yesterday. I heated up the soup and put the rice noodles in, there was a squashed ant at the bottom of the rice noodle!!!!! That’s absolutely disgusting and I am really concerned about other food they made from the same kitchen! I am no longer going back to that restaurant for sure…

Student friendly restaurant. Their serving size is big, I really liked their braised chicken with bones. Their deep fried tofu was also good. Overall it's a good place for students that don't want to pay too much and still want some good warm food for dinner.
