Second time here, and I must say this location is way better than the Richmond Hill location in terms of taste, selection, service, and ambience. Service is super top notch and quick, food arrived fast and hot. Highly recommend their special fried rice and the whole duck 3-way experience. The selection for dim sum is a little lacking but there are plenty of HK style dim sum places that offer wider selection in the GTA.

The atmosphere at the Yorkdale location is great. The price is higher than usual, but you paid for the quality of the food and service. They offer some unique dim sum dishes with unique shapes, like lobster-shaped dumplings and swan-shaped fried eel pastries. Some of the steamed dumplings taste pretty much the same, to be honest, but still decent. Their dim sum menu is not as extensive as other places; I wish they had more variety and selections. Overall it's a fine dining dim sum experience. I liked that you can more easily find a table here than if you were to go to their Markham Highway 7 location.

Yu Seafood Yorkdale is a regular spot for me—I alternate between dim sum and dinner. The food is consistently great. The warm welcome and service is absolutely top-notch from Karen, Felix and Johnny! They always go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience every visit! Robin the hostess always seats us quickly even without a reservation. Highly recommend dining here.

Excellent service. Always following up and making sure we are comfortable. Also the best dim sum in Toronto by far. The dim sum definitely not typical, and much higher end. My favorite item is the wrapped bean curd with mushrooms and fried taro dumping. Both are must haves. The wait is long even if you've reserved a table - highly regarded.

Our group of four didn't make a reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that the wait would be about half an hour. We left our phone number and went to browse RH furniture store nearby. About 20 minutes later, the restaurant sent us a message saying our table was ready. The restaurant was clearly very popular, but the gentleman who served our table was extremely attentive and gave us great recommendations. The service here is truly excellent! Every staff member was friendly yet restrained, and they must be well-trained. We ordered a lobster set, choosing the signature ‘Typhoon Shelter’ flavor, and it was absolutely delicious! The tofu soup we ordered had a great mix of seafood, and the steamed fish was incredibly fresh. The char siu was also very authentic. My parents were very pleased with the meal! We’ll definitely be coming back again.

We dined there yesterday for the seafood, and it was an exceptional experience. Every dish was top-notch and incredibly delicious, with a presentation that was both stunning and visually appealing. The king crab and duck were our favorites. You could tell that the food was prepared with care and passion. A special thanks to Kenny for his sweet and professional service—it truly enhanced our dining experience. Overall, it was fantastic and highly recommended!

Big dim sum lover and sincerely impressed with every aspect of this place! From reception to service to presentation and the most paramount point, the taste! Absolutely a wonderful, higher end professionally run restaurant! I very highly recommend coming and enjoying. My wife says bit expensive but I disagree. We will come back 👍👍👍👍👏
