Food was great and the atmosphere is very nice. The only problem is service. There was only 2 people working with almost all tables full. Of the 2 hours we were there, they only took our order 3 times and we waited over 40 minutes for someone to come take our next order. Maybe this was because we’re new to the restaurant. If you do end up going I would advise you order a lot of food on your first order to avoid waiting for more food.

Went out to dinner here around 7 pm and had the worst service I have ever received. The waiter did not come to our table unless we called him over and we waited for almost 40 minutes without any waiter. We had to ask for more plates, cups, and chopsticks because they were not provided. One of our waiters had multiple pitchers of beer with another table instead of helping out the 1 other server. It was very unprofessional and many things we ordered were forgotten until we reminded them that we ordered it. After we went to pay, the guy (server or owner not sure), who was drinking checked us out and asked for a higher tip. It was unbelievable and I don’t think I will ever go back again. Would not recommend

Was surprised how their soup base is ordered. Have to choose 2 from the menu and the price is only for 1/2 portion. So why don’t just put the whole price for duo pot? Skewers are very small portion. Taste is ok. Service: Only 2 persons work on floor for a busy night. Hard to find service. Sauce options are limited as well.

Seriously, nerve been to a place with so perfect, nice place , clean, Friendly and most importantly, the price not expensive at all, basic all you can eat for $30 including desert and ice cream, fruit, menu has many things from mild to hot, I have 2 thumbs up , just come to this place and try it yourself

I went for 3 lunches and 1 dinner to YE Skewers in Aurora since May 28, 2024 to July 22, 2024. Everyone including kids loved the food and service. YE Skewer is now my “go to restaurant to eat a healthy and delicious meal now. Food was always very fresh and delicious every time! Restaurant is very clean, modern and comfortable. Cheaper to eat here than to buy all these high end groceries yourself! It is $14.99 for only 300 grams of frozen sliced hotpot beef alone from grocery stores. The beef quality is much better here! I ate my money’s worth! I had read previous comments and noticed NOT everyone knows how to do hotpot or boil food and you are NOT alone. I am writing below for those who want to learn. Instructions How to do hot pot: You pick raw food items from menu from waiter and type of soup bases for your hotpot that has 2 separate cooking slots. Then you put raw food items into boiling soup in hotpot on table in front of you and wait until it comes to a boil before eating food. There are many sauces you can pick at the open buffet counter to dip cooked food to eat or just eat it without any sauce and taste the natural flavor of the food with the soup base or plain salt water in hotpot. To make sure food is safe to eat and for those who are sensitive, wait for soup to boil after raw food is placed inside. If items are cooked, they will usually float up to surface. Note: Some people can quickly dip beef into hot water and eat immediately without fully cooking it but not all people can do this if they have sensitive stomachs. Hope you will enjoy this restaurant like me and my friends&family! Eating whole quality foods like this restaurant is the key to good physical and mental health! I highly recommend those who want a healthy delicious meal! Fresh foods taste good on its own! Cineplex Theatre right next to YE Skewer restaurant to watch a movie too. There is a beautiful public park along Bayview called Lake Wilcox 9 minutes drive south of the restaurant with a view of the lake. Nice park for kids to play. Park gets very busy on the weekends so go during the weekdays if you can. A nice day trip to go uptown for anyone. Ye Skewers Hot Pot exceeded all expectations for my brother's birthday celebration. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was vibrant, setting the tone for a memorable evening. The hot pot experience itself was a blast, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients and broths to choose from. The service was outstanding—the waiters were not only attentive but kind and personable, making the entire dining experience all the more enjoyable. The food was a culinary delight; each bite was bursting with flavour, however, what stood out the most was the staff's dedication to ensuring our satisfaction. They went the extra mile, taking the time to show us how to create the perfect sauces, and insisting we try certain items . It's rare to find a place where both the food and service excel, and Ye Skewers Hot Pot certainly achieves this balance effortlessly. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a fantastic hot pot experience coupled with exceptional service.

It was a good experience. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and it was memorable. All the food was incredible, and the staff was accommodating and attentive. We will come back for sure. Highly recommended ❤️ I love the frog leg.
