Kristine was awesome! Very hospitable, attentive and even let us pre order food for dine in, since we were running late after kitchen was closing. Tried to originally go to toma la in hannon but their kitchen closed half hour earlier. Eek! Food was fantastic and definitely recommend the French onion soup and chicken curry dish!! :) thanks!!!

I hosted a celebration of life in the party room. The food was exceptional and abundant. Our server was attentive and very gracious. She took very good care of everyone. My guests were extremely impressed with everything and I heard nothing but compliments. I am so grateful for the wonderful service and food that Trent and his staff provided.

A place we have come to many times over the years. Been with our baseball team. Booked a few private parties. Several times just to have dinner. Don’t let appearance put you off. It’s looking a little tired inside but service is always wonderful, you are checked on throughout your meal. Food is plentiful. Soup and sandwiches were ordered. Sandwiches were good however soup was found to be overly salty. When told to staff, it was addressed. Cook also found it salty. % removed from bill no questions asked. A burger was ordered with fries. It was enjoyed. Ordered the salad, there is enough salad to feed four people. Very enjoyable, be prepared to take some home. Over all will definitely be back

Just recently had our event there, it was in a separate room in the back, that’s had its own separate entrances to the washrooms and outside. The room was huge, and worked out beautifully for our party of approx 50 ppl. There was still quite a bit of room to spare. Trent ( the manager) and his crew were amazing! They were so accommodating, easy going, and so helpful. The food was really good, but i already knew that about Squires ;) ….the chicken wings were my favourite. I really appreciated how they let me bring in chips, pretzels and stuff like that for the tables, as well as our own cake. Everything else they supplied, including a cake cutter. They also allowed me to decorate the room however I wanted, with the exception of confetti…which I totally get. We got the “Snack buffet”, which was great, and boy we got a tonne of food….we came home with so much leftover. Lastly I’ll say, the price pretty reasonable I felt, and I would definitely recommend anyone to book your party there. Oh and kids are welcomed there as well.

First time here... I love pubs so I feel like my expectations are adequate, since I frequent English,Scottish, Irish pubs on the reg... skip the wings if you're expecting juicy ones. Tiny in size, and I received 6.5 baby wings in the pound for $18. The crystals Crudites was hilarious, as it always is everywhere (curved veggies aren't presentable! Just leave them off, save us both the drama). The only saving grace are the fries (if they weren't the bottom of the fryer tidbits & hot) and the bartender definitely knows how to make a Cesar. Service timing was brilliant however no wispy check, but she's also the only one here with 6 on the wood and 5 tables. Overall my rating is 'meh' but I'm sure I'll be back to try the bangers and steak pie.

Had my 50th birthday at this location Friday August 25th and it was great. The room is so big, the staff were amazing they really made you feel like you were welcome, our waitress remembered my name and drink order and would check in on me, if my husband or I wanted another which I really liked. I definitely recommend it for large gatherings and parties.... not to mention the food is amazing. If I had to say what it was missing, I would only say the music could have been a bit louder, and the TV could have been on in there but I'm sure that's an easy fix if you just speak up, which I didn't. 😆 I had a really great night, thanks everyone for making it so memorable.

Today was my very first visit at this restaurant. I have heard that their hamburgers are delicious and also give recommendations for their liver and onions; fish and chips; and chicken asiago sandwich. It usually takes me a very long time to decide what I want to eat, but right when I walked in there was a special menu that I just couldn't resist. Sandra was a phenomenal server. She knew exactly when to come back to check on us and constantly made sure that our drinks were topped up. I have recommended this restaurant to my father as he has monthly get togethers with his retired friends. I certainly will be back to try all the items I did not this time.

Update: I absolutely love the new patio! It’s the bomb!! What a great addition to a favourite restaurant of ours. The server Renee was awesome! Can’t go wrong with that type of service. We went for supper on Friday night. From the outside you would never know how loud it actually was inside. It was very busy but we were sat right away and the server greeted us quickly. The buffalo butter wings tasted like barbecue sauce with a bit of butter. They didn’t taste like buffalo butter flavour at all. It was way too sweet. I had a nice glass of wine and the dessert was as good as the other ye olde squires I’ve been to. It’s their signature beer mug brownie sundae. I could never eat the whole thing but my son was more than willing to eat his and the majority of mine. I would return but get a different flavour of wings as they do make good wings.
