Food was absolutely delicious. Hidden gem for sure. The portion sizes are massive and the quality was incredible. Will be back for more.

I had the pork gyro here and it is so amazing!!!! My family really enjoyed eating here and the portions are huge! Awesome service too. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area

I had a great time at YAYA! The restaurant is very small and cute. Service was very good. We got there at around 7 pm and it was a little hot inside - by the the sun set it got to a more comfortable temperature. We started with saganaki which was good. It wasn’t the traditional flaming cheese that I was expecting though. It had red peppercorns on it. Calimari was excellent. I forgot to take a picture of our mains as we were so hungry! The portions are really big. I like the potatoes more than the French fries (I feel like the fries are just shoestring frozen ones). The chicken skewers came with a mix of white and dark meat with some peppers mixed in. The chicken skewer was good - I feel like there was some weird perfume flavour to it… The pita was soft and fluffy. The baklava was delicious. The staff were very kind and gave this to us for free.

Overall a good visit to Yaya Greek Bistro. Positives included generous portion sizes and a baklava on the house. Calamari and pitas were good and brought hot. Tzatziki was also good bringing in more cucumber flavours than other restaurants in the city. It’s very fresh and not overly garlicky. We were disappointed not to have the full experience of a flaming saganaki, although it was still very tasty. Additional drawbacks were the bench seating (not quite deep enough and hard on the lower back), the same few songs playing on loop, and a number of small flies inside (being zapped loudly by a large bug killer in the corner). Elements of the menu were also a little concluding with many chicken options, but these were made clear upon asking our server. Nothing terribly bad, nothing absolutely outstanding. Not sure if we would go back but it was a fine experience.

Excellent Greek Resto with delicious fare! I had the lunch Lamb entree & it was fantastic. Matilda’s service was very warm & friendly. The Resto has a great ambience & beautiful patio overlooking Queen Street. I would highly recommend a visit to Ya Ya Greek Bistro in Leslieville. You will not be disappointed! 💯 Update November 2024- Decided to bring my wife to YA YA as she loves Greek food too! Yet again- exceptional in every manner. So delicious. She was so happy with her calamari main dish as I was with my lamb pita. We ordered the hummus appetizer to start & it was heavenly too! Matilda was amazing yet again with her personable, genuine & friendly service! We’ll definitely be back again soon. Thank you Matilda! You’re awesome 💯

If you’re looking for proper homemade Greek food, then this is the place you want to go! Everything was so tasty. The service was fast and very friendly. We felt very welcome there. Be sure to bring your appetite as the portion sizes are on the large size. During the summer, the patio is quite pleasant 😃

Decided to stop by to refuel after a long bike ride since it was the less busier restaurant in the area. Whenever I see lamb on the meal, I usually gravitate towards it since it's one of my favorite cuts of meat. They are generous with their portions, and the meat is nicely seasoned. Service, on the other hand, was on the lack luster end cause the waitress was busy on her phone, but that won't stop me from coming back.

First time eating at Yaya. We were visiting the area and were in the mood for some gyro. The portions are generous, the flavors are amazing. True authentic Greek food. The chicken and pork gyros were delish! Tender yet crispy. Calamari very tasty. I wish they had the calamari as appetizer on the menu. We had to order a dinner calamari to share. The staff was welcoming and accommodating (changed TV channel to Euro Cup game😄). Thank you. We will definitely be returning.
