Yaseen’s Shawarma

I highly recommend this place—the shawarma is among the best in town! I was especially moved by the note outside: “ANYONE WHO CAN’T AFFORD TO PAY EATS FREE!” Well done, and kudos for maintaining such great quality and hospitality.

Decided to try Yasmeen’s today!! I was impressed by the service from Bilal and Mukarram not to mention all the menu options! I tried the chicken saj with a side of homemade lentil soup. Loaded up saj with all the toppings and their own secret sauce which did not disappoint!! Definitely a place I will be returning to in the near future!! Thank you for your hospitable service and delicious food!!

I recently tried Yaseen Shawarma but, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. While the food initially tasted good, my group and I experienced stomach issues afterward, which raises concerns about the food quality or hygiene standards. This was quite unexpected and concerning. I hope the management addresses these issues and ensures better food handling practices in the future. For now, I would hesitate to recommend this place until improvements are made.

One of the best shawarmas I have ever had. They add actual meat and chicken pieces and not the tiny shredded fat and other junk. The platter was meaty and saucy. Real, large chunks of meat, plenty of sauce, fresh salad, pickles. I shared the platter with my friend and we could not finish it. The shawarma wrap was also huge in size, made of fresh pita, meat and sauces. Boy I loved this place and will be going back for more!!

Chicken shawarma wraps are really good, crispy chicken wraps on the other hand are not great. Saj bread as always is good. This small place even has washrooms, also very clean. They have a small prayer room too. Great place overall.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Yaseen's Shawarma, and it was an exceptional experience. I tried both the chicken and beef shawarma, and they were incredibly tasty – easily the best shawarma I've had in the entire GTA! The portion sizes were generous, with both chicken and beef filled to perfection. The owner was extremely kind and generous. Even though it was closing time, he still made the effort to serve us shawarma, which I truly appreciated. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious shawarma in the GTA. Worth every penny!

I’m so grateful to the friend who advised us to visit Yaseen’s Shawarma if we came to Mississauga. The food was absolutely delicious! We had two shawarma sandwiches, one with chicken and the other with beef. I would definitely recommend them, especially the chicken one. The place is clean, and there’s hand sanitizer on every table. But what really impressed me was the presence of a clean and pleasantly scented prayer room. This is something quite rare here, and it truly adds value to the place. As for the location, I’m just a visitor, so I can’t really comment on how convenient it is. However, with the clean bathrooms and a prayer room, it’s worth a visit even if it’s a bit out of the way. Thank you to all the kind staff there! it was an excellent experience!

Amazing portions, delicious food. Got the mixed platter and the chicken saj. I really like the chicken shawarma here, not greasy and full of flavor. Traditional flavours. It gets pretty busy at lunch time so recommend coming early as the food takes some time to prepare. Got some of their lentil soup at the end, so good!!!
